Our friend Tanya planned a blowout birthday party for her brother, Bill who is struggling with a mysterious illness that has robbed him of his mobility, speech, and independence. But this is no pity party! Friends and family gathered to celebrate Bill, his life, and in a sense, this community.

What a beautiful and special celebration to look back on. The outpouring of love and support in that small community is heartwarming. There are so many weird unexplainable illnesses out there.
