Amanda if you see him tell him hes an amazing act of god. He is the sweetest man in the world from childhood through and I'm sorry it took such a show as the voice to get him remembered because I bought every album and listened to it till this very day on CD in my car so my children have something to believe in... he is the hope that this generation lacks...

Billy, I did not remember any of your music from 2000 until today. I saw your coming out video and that is why I learned of your singing career. Clearly, you are very talented and I admire your abilities. Your family must be wonderful too as they helped you to become a great guy. So true. I love his voice. This song was included in a music video on here of "E.T" the movie I watched as a kid and I loved it. I also loved his Christmas album and "Til I can make it on my own". That song as well as this made me think of my loved ones who passed away. But I agree. I know Jesus loves this kid and that billy loves him. I know Jesus loves us all.

He went through puberty and his voice changed and after that the country music industry dropped him and in 2016 he was on the Voice. His voice is still amazing to this very day. Check out One Voice by Home Free featuring Billy Gilman. It’s totally awesome.

Still tear up with this song. Loved it when it first came out and love it even more now. I have been through a lot and this song has more meaning to me. Such a strong voice at such a young age, and to sing a song like this is amazing.

I'm listening to it in 2013. Lol. Billy was a kid when I was. And I remember One Voice. I remember watching it on CMT. And falling in love with the song. But unfortunetly, he's almost unknown. But I remember him. That's all that matters. He's not forgotten.

I just listened to this song for the 1st time, after discovering Billy (through song duet with Charlotte Church) & when song was done, all I could say was "Wow!" I loved it!!! I love Billy, also!!!

See this? This is what's known as quality music. Not what most people think is "music" these days. I swear new music artists these days are all thinking, "Hmmmm.... how can we ruin the good name if music and people's lives? I know! This is actually a song my nana wrote for her kids (my dad, aunt, and uncle) Billy Gilman changed a few lyrics and called it his own. It aired on the radio for a year in the ‘90s when my nana originally wrote it

Thomas Winstead who is the young boy shown at the end of the video as being current St. Jude patient, has had his cancer go into remission as well, I have recently manage to connect with him on facebook and was so glad to see that he was treated and had his cancer go into remission like the others in this video. Ever since I first watched the video I have been a part of the donors and supporters of the Organization

OMG I SAW THIS KID WHEN I WAS 8 YEARS AT A LOCAL FAIR GROUNDS! This song reminds me of my father. Worked 3 jobs just so we could eat and keep the house over our heads. Not only was he working 3 jobs but he was and still is an EMT, First Responder, Volunteer Fire Fighter, And helps with the EMT courses as an instructor. No matter what went on whenever i was at his house he made sure that I was safe and happy. I Love you dad!

I remember him very well.... blew me away .. just heard he was on the voice!

OMG... wow - just... WOW. This is the kind of singing voice I've always wanted to have. I've been practicing my singing since I was that age, and I was NEVER EVEN CLOSE to sounding this amazing. This boy (I don't know how old he is now) has TRUE TALENT, and it's so hard to find that kind of passion and ability these days. People like him inspire me to push harder and never give up. My dream is to go on "the voice" someday, but I know I'll never outshine this kid - and I don't think anyone else will either - but only because his voice is the most beautiful I've ever heard. Keep shining on, Billy Gilman! And I hope I and everyone else will keep shining too.

My buddy David Wheeler loved this song. He was born on August 29th 1967. I knew him almost 10 years he was the best friend anybody could ever ask for on August 25th 2018 David went to the bathroom to take a shower. Five minutes later on I heard a thud in the bathroom. And so another roommate and I went in to check on him only to find him dead. The water was scolding hot as the steam was fogging up the mirrors and he was blue. We called 911 and got paramedics to the house. They took him by ambulance to the where the doctors were able to revive him by shocking him 57 times. The Doctor who did his best to save him told me to go in and say my goodbyes. But the doctor also warned me because he was shocked so many times he had brain damage. The doctor said he wouldn't even know his ABCs. I said goodbye to my best friend that night. So as I sit here listening to this song I can't help fight back the tears. I miss my best friend 😢 the anniversary of his death is tomorrow August 25th So just remember you never know when your best friend is going to leave you. So no matter what fights you may have... just realized that you don't know what you have until it's gone. So if you have any best friends make sure to let them know how much you care about them. Because there is a chance that you could never be able to tell them

He is just a singer, a great singer. does not matter straight or gay....talent is talent...you cannot chose how you are born. does not work that way...he is who he is and should never apologize for it...hoping goes all the way on the Voice.
