Billy Gibbons is such a legend. I met him again recently and he has gotten even skinnier and smaller from just 6 or 7 months ago. Enjoy these legends my friends, they won't always be here.

Holy shit. I've been wanting this for YEARS. I KNEW Mike would fit in here. He's a huge Top fan, and has killed this song, going back to club days with Dave. After Dusty passed, Mike was my first thought of who could step in. Would have preferred he be on bass, but... Still badass

The guitar is tuned with some hybrid type of tone control adding bass when needed. Iam not explaining very well sorry, I read an article in classic rock i think a few years back about this trio& there sound etc& i remember being impressed with the concept. Anyhow greetings from northern Ireland 😮

Missed this cruise by a week! Totally could have hit that then the monsters of rock cruise! We were on the MORC24 and it was a ball! Had coffee with Kip Winger one morning, he was more interested in my line of work and I actually just talked to him about material he needs for an expansion project at his music building a week ago! You never know when you will write off a vacation!!!!! If you have never been on a music cruise......GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw ZZ TOP back in the early 70's when they were clean shaven with short hair . 35,000 plus at Tampa Stadium . So many great concerts there.

He sang Dave's parts when I saw VH in the 1970's. Diamond Dave was too drunk to sing. Michael Anthony can sing better than Dave, but Dave can dance even stone drunk.

MA can carry any band with that singing

I’m not knocking the music at all; just so comical how this band became a caricature of itself. When they went digital in the 80s they had guitars spinning from their belt buckles, and anymore it’s like watching Yosemite Sam performing on stage. 😂

It seems when The Rev B plays with these guys he has his mojo and the music has life and energy but when it’s the new ZZ Top it just seems flat and lifeless. Billy G is my guitar hero and I’m not being that no it all KZreadr but IMO, he just sounds so much better in these settings.

It's a "no" for me. Billy G just can't move those fingers anymore. Glad Michael Anthony is having fun.

There is no tracking. Austin Hanks plays bass on a guitar with a special pickup. Other wise what would you think was tracking?
