She was not quite a born again, she just started going back to the Catholic Church again. I dunno about the relationship being abusive, but she was certainly used, her mum should have been prosecuted for allowing a sexual relationship with a much older man and he should have been prosecuted as well. If my 14 year old daughter was having a relationship with a 47 year old man, I would have went straight to the police, but her mum probably approved of the relationship because of the pound signs, even stranger is that Mandy's mum went on to marry Wyman's son. Weird.

Surely, a responsible adult would stop all ties if he realised he had been duped. I'm not against age difference relationships when the youngest is in their 20s or 30s, but a child who has only been a teen for a year or 2 is not good.
