@Starscream91, Bill O'Reilly is on NEWSMAX TV. It's called "No Spin News". We see his shows often. I reject your premise that O'Reilly's "website has been a relative failure." What evidence or proof do you have to support your assertion? And of course, O'Reilly's here on youtube. He makes appearances on other talk shows too. Of course, O'Reilly does not have nearly the exposure that he enjoyed when he had his own show on Fox News. You may have a good point when you say that "He should've went full KZread. Thanks for your comment.

I think that's why Bill wound up in a sex scandal is because he acts like he's above it all and Stern is just honest. Never a sex scandal with Stern you noticed? It's always the people who act holy but deep down want to explore and they never just get gut honest and go, yeah, I like hot babes too. There are real holy men of the cloth who also are above reproach but a lot of these power hungry types who act self-righteous usually show themselves for who they are and in a way Stern has sort of been like a duck where nothing sticks to him. Water off a ducks' back as it were.

This is the only interview where Bill not only didn't dominate, but actually ended up quiet. He tried his hardest to be the bully, Howard sensed it early on, and hilariously told him to sit back in his chair or he'd smack him around. Howard "won" each of the rumbles, and by the end, in true Howard fashion, he was doing all the talking.

This is why Stern has been immensely popular and successful. Honesty. Ask him anything about himself and he gives you a direct answer. No bullshit or fluff. Not many people would candidly state that they are in therapy but Stern admits it without hesitation.

Loved this interview because when O'Reilly asked what he thought were probing, controversial questions, Howard just answered them honestly and never gave O'Reilly the chance to get under his skin. And for whatever reason, O'Reilly feeds off of getting under people's skin, so I guess to him this interview was a failure. Respect for Mr. Stern.

So Howard goes to Nobu. So what......it's what he likes and can afford. My understanding is; Howard is one of the best celebrity tippers out there. He has stated that what ever his or his parties bill is; is what he leaves for the tip......no matter how high the bill!! He and his wife, Beth, donate tons of there time and money to animal rescues and shelters, and even foster dogs and cats. That in my book shows me what a caring person he is. You can always tell what a person is made of by how they tip, and how they treat animals! That's a fact!!

Honestly I've never listened to Stern's show because I don't have sirius, but I recently discovered Bubba's show on RadioOne. Fucking love it! It's not about the swearing or the topics. It's about how he gives his honest opinion. He truly exercises the 1st amendment. I don't think they care who they offend, or if they offend anyone, because that's not what it's about. Not about catering to people's emotions. It's about giving your opinion on a given topic, and telling how you truly feel about it

Howard is SO honest even about his darkest faults, his isolation... after Bill spent so much of this valuable time harping on "4 letter words" and lesbians Stern comes out and shows amazing depth and honestly about himself personally where almost no one else would be that honest in an interview. Sirius XM, which added over 2 million net subscribers last year, has grown its overall subscriber base from 19 million in 2008 to 23.9 million in 2012. This growth was primarily driven by improved auto sales and the company’s push into the used-car market and an increase in its number of partnerships with automakers and dealers. Going forward, we expect the growth to remain robust due to growing strength in the U.S. automotive market, Sirius XM’s sustained conversion rate, its expansion in the used-vehicle market and high quality radio programming. We expect the total subscriber base to grow past 35 million by the end of our forecast period. The company has seen success in the past few quarters and has been able to beat its own subscriber guidance on a consistent basis.

I worked for them during the economic crash back in 09, check the stock prices during that time when the XM merger went through.... it dropped to a low of .05 cents a share and was almost delisted from Nasdaq a year later. They seem to be doing better but you are right it had nothing to do with Stern, it was the auto industry and then retention after the free trials.

Being true is what Howard believes in, and standing by that value is a great thing. I myself believe in that, buts its realllyy difficult to be true to yourself and to others. Wonderful to have a friend like Howard, atleast he will tell you on your face what he thinks.

To be honest this is actually a pretty decent interview on O'Reilly's part. For the most part, he was just asking open questions and listening to Stern give honest answers. There wasn't as much false equivocation and "gotcha!-ism" in this interview as there have been in other O'Reilly interviews. That's about the nicest thing I will ever say about Bill O'Reilly...

I feel him, I hang out with my family. I have a hard time making friends as well because I get obsessed with studies, practice, work. I respect Stern is honest about his faults.
