I ask for prayers for my mom. She's on hospice in a nursing home. I am the youngest of the kids. This is one of our favorite hymns.

Knowing they aren’t suffering anymore is a great comfort but it doesn’t change the fact that there’s a hole in your heart now that can never be filled again. but in time, and with faith, it won’t hurt as much. Your mom will always be with you, watching over you and waiting until you can see her again. It might feel like years down here but where she is it’s only a second.

My great great grandmother outlived ALL 8 of her children and my beloved Yaya, she asked that this anthem of praise be sang as Yaya's remained where taken from the Chapel, what a movement came over the congregation as 500+ voices lifted these words on that day. It’s hard to fathom why a mature adult would believe absurd Stone Age ghost stories about talking snakes, golem spell dirt men, enchanted fruit, talking shrubbery, food falling from the sky, a female salt shaker, talking donkeys, Noah's magic zoo boat, ghost sex, alien landings, zombies, magic hair, magical goblins, giants (Bigfoot), magically multiplying food, magic blood, an invisible magic kingdom, the heebie-jeebies, 900 year old humans, and a man who lived in a fish. Amen! I received news today about my little brother. Someone found him dead in his camper. He had mental illness & a bad heart. His paranoia caused him to leave the hospital without surgery. 6 months later, he's gone. Jesus brought this song to me for comfort. I feel His great love for me! TY Jesus!

Old hymns always remind me of my dad who is no more. Growing up, our family always have this family prayers at home almost every evening and every Sunday morning. We used to sing only from the old hymn song books.

this is wonderful....the joy of entering His Kingdom is great that it will wash our agony and persecutions away. Satan knows this joy and is working hard to stop us from the everlasting life. may our Living God help us in this journey

I came for comfort because I received a phone call today, telling me my little brother died. This is a beautiful, uplifting song! God brought it to my mind after the call. It helped me! God bless you!

This reminds me of my childhood, and Sunday night singsperation. Tens from all the church’s in Rockford would gather to sing and give praise.

This song reminds me far back as 1967 when we sang it at assembly before going to classes at Butterworth SDA mission school. When it is sung now it brings memories of the past but also the great hope of seeing the one who died for us.

Gaither family child guy who was in the morning and evening and will be in the world of a new York, new Jersey and the rest of the most part of my friends and relatives and friends and family members and their parents and teachers and students are you going to have a great time to time and money to buy it now for only a couple weeks ago by a couple days ago and I will have to be able to make sure you can also be used for a while back and forth between the two of you who have a great way for me to do with my friends
