I can't stop crying. My Mom use to sing this song almost daily when I was so young and with tears running down her face. She died when I was 11 years old. I've not heard it in decades. Let your daughter see in Jesus name

My grandmother went home to be with Jesus on January 17th at the age of 94. Such a true warrior at heart to say the very least. She had a double knee replacement surgery back in 2018, and before that dealt with numerous health concerns, including an open heart surgery that occured about 40 years earlier (somewhere in the 80's). There were many times where we could have lost her but the strength of the Lord was the only motivation that kept her living on for as long as she was able to. My grandfather is currently 92, going on 93 in July and I give him the most sincere tip of the cap for taking care of her until her very last breath. Knowing that her soul is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gives me so much peace and comfort in the midst of sorrow and heartbreak. ❤️❤️❤️

On Feb. 2nd 2021, I had this song on repeat not realizing that an hour later I get the news that my dear father and role model went home to be with Jesus suddenly. God was preparing my heart! Looking forward to that DAY when we all see Jesus face to face! 🙏

Lost my Mom last year to Alzheimer’s too. This old world will roll up like a scroll and we shall be changed. The circle will be unbroken. I’m sorry for your loss. It still hurts. But we have hope so we can take it. God love you.

My father just passed away 2 days ago , so energetic and still.full of life....hurts so much..but the Peace of God is what is sustaining me. The Peace of God that surpasses all understanding..and His Strength. We hold to God's Word, His Promises that He goes to prepare a place for us and our faith shall be our eyes..in Eternal Glory, Heaven Forever...Hallelujah! God's Will be done. And I trust Him. Sometimes we don't understand why..but TRUST and lean on Jesus. He knows our end to beginning and His plan will all make sense when He shows us in Heaven why things happened the way they did. Just keep your eyes on JESUS..and keep going forward with The LORD. One day we too of the LORD will be with HIM too. Hallelujah!

I find myself listening to this most mornings after my Our Daily Bread video. I love it--so simple and so true---helps get me through rough days---I have 2 chronic diseases--my MD's have said I have no medical reason to be alive---God says otherwise. I have been home bound the last 4 years. Was diagnosed at 25 with Lupus and disabled at 37. I am an RN. Really hard. Left with 2 boys to raise. Divorced. Thankful for strong, healthy parents that helped so very much--they are with the Lord now!!! I am now 61 and have seen my 3 grandchildren born and the oldest is 9. Don't know what God's plans are---take 1 day at a time and rest in Him.

My Mom loved this song when we all get to heaven. She just never heard it sung this way.I found this version of it .I played it for her just minutes before she entered Heaven. I love this. Thank you! That was a few months ago.

We are laying my Dad to rest today. He wanted me to select the music for his service. I came upon this and knew this had to be in it. Does this song make anyone else just that little bit excited to go home and see Jesus face to face? I thank God for letting me live on this earth everyday, but in my heart there's this longing to go home. This. This remake of a beautiful old hymn NOW holds so much meaning for me. Having lost my husband in an accident, just one month and two days ago, I KNOW that he is experiencing ALL of God's glory and is FREE from the ravages of all that this world holds. And one day, one day, I WILL see Jesus, in all of His glory, and my sweet husband, again.

My Mom passed away one week ago today. We found this piece and a small combo (violin, cello, and piano as well as voice ) performed it at the Celebration of Life. It was so powerful. Thank you Matt.

Well, it is 2024 and I am still here. Deteriorating, but God is still so faithful!!!! I have found my ministry is praying for others---especially for those in Counties where the name of Jesus is not welcomed!!!! Oh, how strong their faith is!!!! They live with such horrors!!! All they ask for is prayers and Bibles!!! VOM is an excellent organization to pray with and to support!!!!

One of my husband's favorite songs. I could never bring myself to listen to this song. I avoided it because it made me really sad thinking of our beautiful Moms. But today, my spirit was singing it and it didn't make me too sad. I look forward to seeing my beautiful Moms again one day soon in heaven. How sad that so many young people don't know the old hymn, "When We All Get To Heaven". You all hear the newer "praise and worship" songs that started in the 1970's and have no idea that all the old, beloved hymns were already praise and worship songs. New words have been added to and around the old hymn in this rendition. That's why it seems to be a "newer" song than what Billy Green is talking about that his sweet Mom sang. Some of us were fortunate enough to grow up on the old, beloved hymns and I'll never be short-changed into what the young world accepts now as "praise and worship" songs with a little keyboard. So sad some will never know the majesty of hearing a grand piano and a mighty organ playing along with the old hymns. It breaks my heart.

Now that Coronavirus is a threat to the world, let's all call on Jesus for help, healing, salvation.

Yesterday morning this was the first song i heard and i cried with some grief and much joy thinking of my uncle who went Home to Jesus in November and my aunt (his oldest sister) who's health has been failing. A few hours later we learned my aunt had also gone Home to Jesus. What an awesome song to remind us we grieve with great hope! Thank you Matt and band and thank You Sovereign Lord!

This will be replaced by Singing, Serving and Sharing around the Throne Matt encourages us to "Lift our Eyes". Can I encourage when we are worshipping to close our eyes as we join with the worshippers who are already worshipping around the Throne. "When we all get to Heaven - what a day of rejoicing that will be" I sobbed my way through this again tonight as God chose to take our precious son to be with Him 10 years ago at the age of 25. Our big guy was an inspirational, vibrant young man of God who loved Jesus more than anything else in this world. The legacy and testimony he has left behind of his passion to see others won for Christ and his impact on so many people for good and for God's Kingdom. Thank you SO much Matt for this wonderful rendition of a great old hymn. I never tire of listening to you. There is something VERY special about this acoustic recording - the simplicity of it all blessed me (and I LOVE the pianist - those long bony fingers and dexterity)

my dad was very sick the weeks before he passed he would tell me to play this song again 5times over now he is with his lord no more pain

We just buried our 22-year-old son, less than two weeks ago. Heard this song on the radio yesterday, for the first time. Cannot tell you how deeply this touched me, as I continue to grieve, and remember, the son that was loaned to us, by God. One day.....🙏

This song always makes me cry. Thank you, Matt, for your lyrics and emotiveness that comes from the deep. I cannot wait to worship before our Lord in heaven.... to sing and shout the victory!

As a Christian, we should hold on unto the promise of God when His Son returns. The promise of freedom, peace, and joy. It makes me smile that one day every brokenness and pain that we are feeling right now will all be taken away the moment we are with Christ. Thinking about it makes me think about how God is good to us!! God bless everyone

I can’t wait! Leave this old world behind and see Jesus Christ face to face. Will I fall down at his feet or will I just get to hug him, or will I be so much awestruck that I want be able to move. Whatever happens I can’t wait to see my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Amen

This song will always remind me of my grandmother, who died of cancer last year; it was her favorite christian hymn.

Amen. Titus 2:13 [13]looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,

After losing our mother to cancer 25 years ago on Christmas evening, this year my father also passed. But we still have this hope to see them both and so many others who have gone there ahead of us.

My dad just died today and went to his eternal home, this song inspired and gave me hope to get through the grieving process

Tears of joy and sadness went down my cheeks as I heard this song especially as my mum has dementia and is now in her last days. We are believers and as I played it to my mum we saw a tear roll down the side of her face as she heard this song. How wonderful that we have hope in Jesus and we don’t have to fear “that day” . Praise the Lord

This song 'one day' has provided me with mixed emotions the last few weeks as I endured another miscarriage and the end of my 6th and probabally last pregnancy. The song is comforting as it reminds us that 'one day' pain and suffering will end and we will be overjoyed to see god and loved ones in heaven but also a hard reminder that waiting to see heaven is not just gonna happen today but probabally a long way off before all questions are answered. Matt Redmond thank you writing this song to try to restore hope during lifes hard unplanned times.

A Beautiful Song sung 💕 with Words that come from from the Very heart. A Song that focuses purely on the Promises of Christ and what awaits True believers in Christ as we leave this earth. It took me back to my very early days as a Christian and singing this on a Sunday morning in a Penticotal church I attended with many who are know longer with us and now in Glory ! 💕

This has been the hardest and toughest year in my life... it still is and this song gives me a little more hope!
