You gotta give Conan props, no other Late Night host would let Bill rant for this long about stuff like this. Colbert, Kimmel, Fallon, any of them. They would've shut it DOWN. And Conan made him a repeated guest too, cause he recognizes people who are funny and real and he gives them the environment to let them be funny and only ever really interrupts to make everything more funny. Best late night host, hands down.

Colbert strangles and cuts off Burrs attempts at just making his audience laugh at every turn. His show isnt a vehicle for comedy, it's a vehicle for annoying politics and a vehicle to celebrate himself.

I believe in facts and would only follow certain bits of various ideologies that make sense to me. Republicans have a way of thinking in the sense of "survival of the fittest" ideology. They resist change both the bad ones and good once. I suspect a lack of empathy in many of the conservatives. I see empathy driven narratives perpetuated as fact in the left wing people. I don't think Bill Burr makes things funny. He is just saying things that seem funny to everyone else. I remember comedians talking about Bill Burr simply talking to them in car rides, and they couldn't stop laughing at things that Bill would find just normal things.

Judging from the crowd silence at certain moments, it's pretty obvious who the majority of Conan's audience is. But Bill was 100% right. It's kind of sad that a comedian provided a more objective commentary on the election, then the mainstream news hosts.
