More metal plates rather than bumpers. Takes up to much space on the bar sleeves. You only need one bumper plate per side to dampen the impact. If you want the best, calibrated plates.

If you want to be really impressed look up the man "Cailer Woolem" in the 220's class he pulls over 900lbs. That's the best I've ever seen live. I got to work out with him in a Gym in Lubbock,TX once only. He was rowing with over 500lbs for strict 45 degree belly pull rows. Also he was doing the weighted pull ups like nothing. @@Wizzlejames875 a good deadlift is not that hard to find, but a good calf raise, a good squat, and good technical lifts such as forearm wrist rolls..... Those are the things I find have to be worked on and are less dependent on just raw talent. My short fingers and lack of grip strength means that I just about maxed out my own deadlift at 600-lb in college. I worked so hard on grip strength to even get that. Had I known about the back strengthening exercises and more technical work that I do now, I might have gotten close to 700. What do you think your theoretical Max is, if all techniques and dieting were applied?

Ahhh, I can't believe I missed the notification for when this dropped. I'm the girl from the video and it was so cool to compete in one of Nick's events after being a follower of the channel for years but living too far away to attend anything 😅

Damn these are ALL some impressive athletes. As someone who works out via group exercise classes and not serious lifting, I could only deadlift about 65 lb because beyond that, I can't hold on long enough to perform the exercise.
