Jeez Collin is nuts! Made every lift, even 530, looks easy and comfortable. I bet he has 545 in him, maybe 550. I would've tapped at the 450, as i've never pulled that much on a conventional bar. Seeing a dude whose likely sub 200 lbs bodyweight tear 530 off the ground without much effort is just inhuman.

You can tell Collin is the only one there who didn’t ego-lift in the gym and really got his form down. His strength is through hard work and practice. All the other guys are strong too but they’re definitely neglecting all the finer details that Collin’s been working on and it shows. Respect to everyone here, but Collin’s MVP.

Huge Congrats on the PR Collin! Though I'd wager he definitely has 540+ in him. That 530 was only milliseconds slower than the 500... Just goes to show that aesthetics and size don't always go hand-in-hand with strength (I pinned him as one of the lesser built guys out of the top 3-5).

That was some impressive lifting all around. Anything over three plates is honestly pretty respectable. People don't realize the amount of work it takes the average person to get above that point. You can't knock anyone who puts in the work to get there. The fact that you see this and celebrate guys who step up and achieve is absolutely fantastic. I started lifting because of bullying. I can only imagine how far I could've taken my body if I had that level of positivity around me through my quest for strength. I could have added plates to my lifts. Ok, that and a dietician would've been nice. I eat like a pig.

@Vishak bhat 530? Definitely. 630? Lmao not a chance with his ass kissing the sky before the bar was above his knees. I compete against dudes like that all the time. Crazy bar speed until they hit a wall when their ass gets a little too quick and leaves them almost still legged with the bar at their knees and they either hitch the hell out of the weight to try to hump it up (doesn't count at any major federations meet) or they just drop it and save their cervical spine the abuse.
