People want good results without doing the proper maintenance always. Great video

Thanks man! Yes things need to be done the right way
stay warm my friend. Miami finally hitting 47 degrees, eqt stage 2 on E85 just gapped a RSX and Q50 both tuned. These can be reliable seeing as how my last one made it 20k no issues but i did all mantience 5k for oil and did haldex every 25k plugs every 15k miles. the platform is great if you stay on top of it.

Absolutely is man! And I wish I was in Florida rn man no such thing as winter mode haha I would love some 47 degree weather rn! And nice man! These things really move with e85
Mine started right up at -22! Killed it on the ice fun! I just love seeing your build progression. Gives me something to look forward to! Thanks man!🤙🏻

Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words! And impressive -22 is insane lol I’m complaining with 6 degrees haha
You inspired me to put out some videos on ownership of my 2017 Audi A3. Best car I ever owned. You are so right about proper maintenance.

2015 s3 here with 111k miles rn( had it since 60k). I’m about to do a upper timing chain housing fix for small oil leak. new spark plugs and coil packs. Other then that she’s been running strong. Plan to wrap it. New rims and sell it for a s4 hopefully

Good plan bro! The b9 s4 is a fantastic platform. They’re easy 10 second cars with bolt ons and a tune

I always heard the 2015 models were unreliable is that true ?
@jonathanbarker78

@@NOBODY-hj6qd I’m going to be honest with you. As long as you do the correct maintenance and keep up with fluids you can’t really loose.. haldex maintenance.. get the turbo inspected.. every sports car is going to need just general upkeep. Oil filter is easy to access for oil change. right now I’m actually in the process of putting a new timing chain kit on there.
This platform is too good

Mine has 63,500 and I dynoed over 500hp no issues what's so over still a great commuter car 😆

Mines going on the dyno in a few weeks and can’t wait! Lol hopefully will make over 500whp
@imaudizz

@DArias you definitely should!! It's a crazy feeling seeing your car send it on the dyno. I made 527 and 454 Torque with 36psi peek boost and about 12° timing
Most people I know don’t run ethanol this late into the winter. It messes with fueling plus. most fast cars are in storage anyways. Get yourself flex fuel if this is your daily.
@DArias
Жыл бұрын
This isn’t my daily driver I have a Mk7 GTI that I daily and true being ethanol content is low during winter it sucks but I’m on my final revision so once that’s finished I’ll go back to 93 until the spring. Also once Cobb releases their flex fuel sensor for this platform next year I’ll retune for flex
Bro im in PA and these last couple days have sucked for real lol. I swear my furnace was on 24/7

This cold front is terrible man lol I know people in other states get it worse but I’m not used to this consistent frigid temps lol
hey how do you feel about the eqt dsg tune compared to your old ie dsg tune
@DArias
Жыл бұрын
Never been tuned by IE ecu or tcu I’ve only ever had EQT. Now the dsg tune feel really nice. Smoother in normal driving than stock and shifts much quicker as well
How often should I get the dsg serviced?
@DArias
Жыл бұрын
Normal driving without pushing the car hard every 40k miles. Now if you drive the car super hard with a bunch of launches and high rpm driving I recommend 20k-30k miles
