    stay warm my friend. Miami finally hitting 47 degrees, eqt stage 2 on E85 just gapped a RSX and Q50 both tuned. These can be reliable seeing as how my last one made it 20k no issues but i did all mantience 5k for oil and did haldex every 25k plugs every 15k miles. the platform is great if you stay on top of it.

    2015 s3 here with 111k miles rn( had it since 60k). I’m about to do a upper timing chain housing fix for small oil leak. new spark plugs and coil packs. Other then that she’s been running strong. Plan to wrap it. New rims and sell it for a s4 hopefully

    @@NOBODY-hj6qd I’m going to be honest with you. As long as you do the correct maintenance and keep up with fluids you can’t really loose.. haldex maintenance.. get the turbo inspected.. every sports car is going to need just general upkeep. Oil filter is easy to access for oil change. right now I’m actually in the process of putting a new timing chain kit on there.

    @DArias you definitely should!! It's a crazy feeling seeing your car send it on the dyno. I made 527 and 454 Torque with 36psi peek boost and about 12° timing

    Most people I know don’t run ethanol this late into the winter. It messes with fueling plus. most fast cars are in storage anyways. Get yourself flex fuel if this is your daily.

  • @DArias

    @DArias

    Жыл бұрын

    This isn’t my daily driver I have a Mk7 GTI that I daily and true being ethanol content is low during winter it sucks but I’m on my final revision so once that’s finished I’ll go back to 93 until the spring. Also once Cobb releases their flex fuel sensor for this platform next year I’ll retune for flex

  • @DArias

    @DArias

    Never been tuned by IE ecu or tcu I’ve only ever had EQT. Now the dsg tune feel really nice. Smoother in normal driving than stock and shifts much quicker as well

    Normal driving without pushing the car hard every 40k miles. Now if you drive the car super hard with a bunch of launches and high rpm driving I recommend 20k-30k miles
