you have way more resources than I do. If you like that movie Cherry 2000 one of the locations is in Henderson outside Las Vegas. Really interesting location that looks almost exactly the same.... the thing is, there is a scene where the villain Lester (Tim Thomerson) drops a van into a large pit... well 34 years later that exact van is still there and you can walk right up to it! Sounds like something you would like to do... I have a crappy video on it... but you would be able to show that much better.

It’s all in the reflexes!!! I love that silly movie! I have a tshirt with the movie poster on it. And that’s the only tshirt I ever get reactions on! And it’s always positive! People who know these weird phantasy, action comedy horror flick, love it. And specially being a 70s kid, doing karate in the 80s, this really was up my ally (pun intended) as a 13/14 year old. And after the movie me and my other karate friends went out and sparred many of those iconic scenes. What a great time the 80s were.

I worked in San Francisco for at&t long before it was just at&t. The day in 1985 or 86’ Huey lewis and the news filmed one of the alley scenes in the Bad is Bad video, I was on the roof of the building over that alley on Rowland at Broadway. It was Rowland or Barton, I can’t remember which one now. You know how you can feel someone looking at you? Huey lewis looked right up at me between takes.

I have this movie on Blue-Ray, great extra's including extended ending and deleted scenes, its really great! James Hong is amazing too, first saw him in "The Sand Pebbles" (1966) with Steve McQueen, he was great in that too.

wow, didnt expect Hong! Nice surprise! that was awesome to watch and how cool was it to see him in character too. This movie had to be the inspiration for Mortal Kombat. Jack Burton inspired Johny Cage, the flying guys with lightening became Radian and there are plenty of others youll notice next time you watch.

Brilliant tour, there was an almost magical quality to many films made in the 80's, that is why we remember them today, in recent years many films become very throw away and forgettable but a film like 'Big trouble in Little China' just lives on, it is great that you took time to go to a filming locations so we can all see, i live in England so it is not easy for me to get to San Fransico.
