    the prices for this stuff is insane, it prices the real enthusiasts out of the vehicles. the people who are looking for a durable rig they can take on adventures and use and abuse it, wont be able to afford them. The rigs they are fully done ups target market are KZread stars and social media personalities. 😅 Id love to trade in my 2016 for a new jeep but 16 has been super reliable and a great camping rig. I dont need a 30k carbon fiber hard shell rooftop tent. i dont know what needs to change but the cost of cars never go down, and also the aftermarket addons. I guess youre looking at a 1k a month car payment, with nothing left over for accessories. its kinda depressing.

    @@jondrew55 The JL softtop is definitely a quantum leap because now not only I need to take the rear piece off to fold down the top, I also need to keep it and the two rear quarter panels at home when I want to take the top down, because of the stiff support structure built-in to the removable soft panels. So the pieces better have quantum entanglement when it suddenly gets cold or rains. Hope you're getting paid enough by Jeep for saying things like you did.

They actually FIT and only need simple L-Brackets on the frame to support the extra weight and only need to move a FEW items to make it fit properly into the engine bay and use better heavier duty shocks . The local mechanical and structural engineers have signed off so it's now on-road insurable and safety-rated. Local eggheads have ALSO put in NEW 3rd party valve cover gaskets, better 3rd party turbo chargers/impellers, new water pump gaskets, higher end fuel injectors, better EGR cooler, and a higher end OIL and AIR intake and cooling system to get rid of the common problems associated with this specific engine. It's NOW a full-blown powerhouse that WILL LAST DECADES if oil is changed regularly and other maintenance is done regularly. V

    I like the new grille and I think the new screen is chic. Even better I think something as basic and or fundamental as a optional rear locker on the Willys is smart and should have been offered earlier. The "front end seat" and similar integrated options would make the cheap even more formidable when compared to the Bronco. I would love to see more ideas like that on all Jeep models e.g. an integrated table on the inside of the rear swing door or tailgate. Good vid!

All of the infotainment stuff will be obsolete or broken before the vehicle is paid off and I don't want it anyway. I don't even use most of the features on the radio in my 2009, all I want is a radio with CD and auxiliary input and I don't even turn it on most of the time. I will wait a few years and buy a used one that has likely seen little to no off road action for a fraction of the original price. I actually like the new grill. Best new feature is the floating axle. Worst new feature is the electric seats - mostly because I set y seating position once when I pick up my vehicle from the dealership and then never adjust it again.

    They should work on shrinking that humongous box behind the rearview mirror, because it looks like it blocks your field of view. It's like the rear wiper motor in the JK; does it really need to be THAT huge? Love the new screen, but I'd miss being able to have a bullet antenna

  • @justinallday4981

    Will the 4xe ever be offered with the standard 3.6L V6 engine or only continue to be offered with the I4 turbo? I have no interest in a 4-cylinder turbo.

  • @darthnater9819

    @darthnater9819

    Don’t hold your breath, to do that would require major redesign of the engine. Besides pairing a V6 with the the system defeats its purpose. 4xe is supposed to improve the wrangler’s efficiency. The 3.6 is not as efficient as the 2.0. If you want more cylinders, the newer 3.0 TT I6 “Hurricane” engine may come to the wrangler in a few years and since it has the same architecture as the 2.0 it could be paired to the 4xe hybrid system. However it may require a full new generation to squeeze it in the engine bay. And considering they are just now refreshing the wrangler expect at least 3-4 model years before that comes around I would say.

  • @jeffk464

    @jeffk464

    Жыл бұрын

    never, eventually the 3.6 will probably go away. My guess is eventually you will only have the 2.0T, the 4xe, and the 3.0T Hurricane. I think if that Hurricane proves to be reliable it will be an awesome engine. PS don't quote me but I think rumors are that the 2.0T is turning out to be reliable.

    Very cool updates! I love my 22' 4XE Rubicon with Skytop with 12k miles since May of 22. The transition from EV to gas on the 4XE is pretty rough in idol. I think I got spoiled when it's in ev and how smooth it drives. I'll personally wait until the full EV Jeep comes out. I'm just a suburban cruiser with my 3 kids fyi. I'm nervous to off-road in my lease, even though I'm less than an hour from the Blue Ridge mountains. My only issue right now is the bad left sensor which is back-ordered with no eta. My 4WD, battery, stability control, and ABS light is on nonstop for a few weeks now.
