Big Sky Country via DIY Camper Van and custom teardrop trailer
In this video we spend a month exploring the "Big Country" states of Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana, as well as portions of Oregon in our DIY camper van. We visit Jackson, WY, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, and work our way through central and northern Montana. We then work our way south through central Idaho and over to Bend, Oregon. We hiked, paddle boarded, took boat rides, attended festivals and met up with other van lifers while on the road.

I just wanted to let you know that your channel sparked the dream to buy and build a sprinter van.. not only because I love diy builds but because I saw the way you and your daughter were able to bond through the van adventures. My son is 4 now, my build is far along enough to start enjoying it, and I have studied your content for years to make that all happen. I appreciate your dedication to DIY van building, I consider you one of the godfathers of the craft.

Ha, the little girl drives a boat like a BOSS! 😎 I have tubed the Flathead river and caught some big fish outta there. Montana is nice!

Our van is pretty well setup for three...two on the folding RIB bed and my daughter's bed is across the back. When she gets taller the cabinet can be opened to extend her bed width to 5'10". -Ken

Not this time...the friends we were traveling with had no way of carrying bikes; we really missed the bikes on this trip!
