Спорт

You know “Big On The Basics”, the unique Animal hands-on tutorial series featuring some of the strongest lifters on the planet. You may also know the “master class” version of this series, designated by the term "Beyond." In the latest installment, we feature Dan “BOSS” Green who goes deep, deep into the deadlift. He covers both the conventional and sumo deadlift and provides some troubleshooting tips. I like Dan Green a lot. Although I always feel like when he's giving information it seems forced as if he would rather be training than talking. Maybe he's just a little introverted. Regardless he seems like a good guy and wish him the best. Thanks for the info!!

    I know what you're saying... I guess that's why he's not a talk show host :) but truth be said, I've learnt more from these videos than with some actual PTs. And having some of the best talking about how and why they do the lifts... that is just priceless. Keep it up, Animal!

    +Pedro Leal I totally agree with learning more from these individuals than a PT. majority of PTs are weekend certs and little to some experience. These guys are the real deal. Having a world class athlete like Dan explain something that he's excellent at always seems to come across easier.

    +Animal That is true. I suppose you know this, but in other countries/places where there isn't such a big business around weightliftng, powerlifting and the likes, it's really hard (and expensive) to get someone who knows what they're talking about... "oh, you shouldn't go so low on the squat"... I've actually heard a PT instructing the guy that the leg in the squat sould not go lower than 30º... he was basically doing half squats th whole time. So, thank you so much for your work.

  • @perretlaurent6665
    @perretlaurent66656 жыл бұрын

    The more the hips are far from the bar, the more the hamstrings and the ass are involved. That's why the coaches say to do that to girls for growing their butt on the squat. That's stupid. Do real deadlift and that's all. Classical deadlift is a hip and ankles dominant exercice. The calves, the hamstrings and the ass are so involved. And at the beginning, the quads too. And the back ? It stays right. No movement from it. It works only on isometric. If you will pull, do rowing or chin ups that are pulling exercices.
