Hi Renea and John! I used to get bananas from a lady that delivered fresh bananas, apples and oranges to local gas stations and if she always gave me the bananas that was a little too ripe to leave and be sold. I would make banana bread from them and always made her and her husband some. I would share loaves of banana bread with people I worked with. I do love banana bread and yours looks so delicious. I love banana bread & make it often. Another good thing to add into it for a different twist sometimes is peanut butter-with or without chocolate chips. Pineapple, molasses, caramel, there is no end to the ways to elevate a beautiful banana bread. Yummy, now I'm hungry! ❤

Greetings from North Bay Ontario:):) I only use your banana bread recipe, ..the original one. I usually add choc chips and I double the recipe getting 4 loaves. I threw all the other banana bread recipes I had out!! Thank you friend. Stay well Mr. Wayne.

The breads look delicious!! Renea, I've been baking your so spread sugar cookie recipe and royal icing with corn syrup. I made 10 doz graduation cap decorated cookies for my granddaughters' high school graduation. Love both recipes. The dough was so easy to handle and stay fresh.Years ago I made the icing with egg whites and with meringue powder, hated it and stopped making decorated cookies. The corn syrup icing was sleazy to make and use and color too. Thanks for the recipes.

I have a ready bread mix from the shop and as I'm out of flour I will add my bananas to that. Fingers crossed!!

Hi Friend, Do you make banana peel water for your garden? I’ve been making it this season. First time. It’s supposed to be very beneficial for tomatoes, peppers etc. You can leave them whole or chop the peelings up. Fill container with water add your peelings. Use next day up to three days. Hi Rene, love how your hubby helps you out in the kitchen, mine does too. Good men are hard to find now a days. Love it and keep up the good work Mr. Wayna. PS you can use Monk Fruit Sugar a 1:1 ratio, just saying, A diabetic here. Also your recipe is almost the same as mine except l add some cinnamon and a pinch of nutmeg.

Really enjoy your channel! Have you ever tried freezing them and then making your banana bread as usual when the bananas have thawed? it makes such a moist and flavorful product! My grandchildren especially like them as muffins.

Well unless you bake daily like I do it would be a waste of your money. Remember I bake lots of goods for my market stand.

You remember that Mr. Wayna…EVERYTHING in moderation, portion control and listen to your blood sugar readings! Sounds like your blood sugar levels are behaving a little better, yes? I just love watching your cooking and baking visits as it reminds me so much of my growing up years. I’m one of 9 children and it was always like cooking for an army. I keep hoping I’m going to be able to come see your farm market and see those chickens in person but it’s not looking promising. My John(Jack) has too many not good days but I’m just thankful for every day God lets me have him. Sometimes we just have to accept things as they are and not how we want them to be. But if a good day does come I hope your pizza oven is fired up because that would be a great experience to see as well!!!:):):)

No it is a Vevor. I have tons of bread pans because I bake lots of bread for my stand. Lol

I am a diabetic can I use Splenda to do all of my baking I really can't tell a difference

I knew you would love that mixer, anyway, I thought I would let you know the price of a chuck roast, average size, You better sit down, $85.00, no I am not kidding, the price of beef is too much for me to afford now. Isn't a chuck roast one of the cheapest cuts of beef??

What?? 85. Dollars. Oh my goodness!! I am glad my family buys a beef every year from my nephew. The average is 3.35 a pound for steak and all the other cuts!

Holy Moly!! You may want to find a local farmer and buy your beef from him. We buy quarters 2 times a year and pay 3.50 per pound and that includes packaging and delivery.
