Hands down one of the best AEW segments I have seen since the company started in 2019, a legitimate wholesome, fun moment (pulls on the heartstrings a little bit) even with a megaheel in MJF and a tweener in Adam Cole. Kudos AEW, well done 🎉

I don’t care what the ratings are and I don’t care who is most popular. This right here. This segment is what I’ve been looking for this. This is what wrestling is to me.

the chemistry between them is incredible

The interactions between the two and the birthday segment really made me smile. The rivals forced into a tag-team skit can often feel boring and predictable, but for now these two are really killing it.

MJF is marking out for Adam Cole, and I love it

Mjf and Cole pulling off the tired Can they co-exist so well. Just amazing. When they do the double clothesline the pop. 🙏🙏🙏 All the streamers landing on Max is such a nice touch

I never thought I would get to see them be a tag team thank you Tony

This is such a fun angle. We all know where it's gonna end, but seeing MJF use his heels tactics for the greater good of winning and messing with Cole's head is hilarious. lol

This almost feels like MJF is genuinely enjoying tagging with Adam Cole right now. I really hope this pairing keeps going for the long-term, because they have struck gold right now.

Cole and MJF as an odd couple tag team isn't something I thought I needed but I'm sooo here for it

Seriously. I have said it, everyone is saying it. Look at the comments on here and twitter, this angle and story is an absolute 10/10. No way they pull the plug on this considering how over these 2 are with the fans. MJF, the top draw already, has never been this over, neither has Adam Cole. They might win it all and the tag titles, and have Cole go heel in the process. MJFs character needs a real friend and ally, and this is how you do it.

MJF reminds me a lot of 2012-13 Bully Ray, when he teased turning babyface. They’re both masters of getting crowd reactions. Both have that undeniable rapport with the crowd, and can/could get them to chant & do pretty much whatever they wanted. Both are from NYC. Both are natural heels that the crowd wants to cheer. Obviously MJF is on a grander scale. MJF running around in a circle, doing the Rick Steiner pose before the match. Please stretch this out as long as you can!

I really do like the idea that Max has spent all this time not understanding how to make or keep friends... and he's finally figured it out... this is going to be a big face team.
