He had a crazy career, where he always was this sick bastard. But he helped Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley get through tough times. He has a gentle/good side, it's just how he is. Saw part of himself in MJF and ton of potential to help him get to the top as he himself never got there. Sadly, MJF got his feelings hurt by Regal and you don't get away for doing that. MJF is sick vengeful man. What he did was he used Regal (guy is nuts) and threw him away just to put salt on the wound. As he still had to have his revenge. Danielson said to Mox about Regal: You know how he is. And then we saw Regal stand with his head raised, not backing away from such a dangerous man even while being very fragile himself. The traits of not backing away from danger, helping two well established faces get through tough times, being this cheery guy when in a good mood. They make Regal likeable. Now add that with him being a nut case, doing wrong thing because he wanted to help someone he once hurt and now see ton of himself in him (when he didn't reached the top). The way MJF hit him in the back of the head, when Danielson mentioned how badly hurt Regal is and how it's dangerous to hurt him. Regal was laying face down, senseless. He deserved it, but after he got what he deserved what is left is sympathetic character who went a wrong path. A payoff for a short story, with bunch of details from past and ton of consistent character work. Every week Dynamite just reminds me why I fell in love with AEW product. I love pro wrestling, but man AEW is so fun to watch. All the small details added so carefully.

No one in Wrestling has ever got over to World Championship level the way MJF has. No Wrestling fan has ever seen anything like this. People will be copying what MJF is doing for the next 20 years.

The segment was a slow burn. It grew with every minute and we all grew into the segment with the two performers who delivered it for us. The conclusion was fantastic. The moment of silence after MJF's departure. Everything was executed well. Side note: I hope MJF is paying his suit guy well. The Better Than You on his blazer was nice AF!

@@ehi80 it does make sense. MJF’s point is that he’s the biggest attraction in all of wrestling, right next to Roman Reigns. In 2 years, we’ll see who puts the most $ up to sign MJF. Either Tony Khan or Nick Khan.

I've been a pro wrestling fan since the mid-1970's. I've seen them all throughout all the territories and companies. MJF is pure gold as a heel. He's definitely learned his craft from the best to rise heads and tails beyond.

The best heels are the ones who feel justified and can make it uncomfortably easy to side with them even if you don't want to because of how low they'll go.

@@najo3724 the way AEW does their booking recently, anything is possible. But even someone like Randy Orton during his Mega Heel run still managed to receive cheers when he became a babyface despite the things he did. Same with Edge

This man is money. Legend in his own time. He was born for this stuff. Absolutely love this.

I won't lie and say I watch AEW when it airs. I just watch the highlights. But this dude MJF is incredible on the mic.

Is no one going to mention the massive freaking FLY on MJF's shoulder? Like holy shit that thing is big and it's just sitting there on his left shoulder all willy nilly.

The segment was a little bit weird for me, couldn't really get into it, then the ending I got goosebumps. It was so awesome.

Dude will go down in history as one of the greatest orators in pro wrestling. Every promo is goosebumps-inducing.

I liked how MFJ mentioned a bunch of title reigns and also mentioned Bruno Sanmartino’s as well and he later on says “Ladies and Gentlemen. You’re now in the ERA of MJF. And my reign or terror has just begun.” Such an amazing heel

During the first promo between MJF and Regal, Regal turned away and invited MJF to show the world he’s the devil by striking him from behind. Job well done Mr Regal. The way he stood nodding, allowing MJF to go round behind him, it seemed like he might have known what was going to happen. Ever the teacher.

Mjf has personified himself as the greatest Heel in professional wrestling. The man himself has shown so much of a young age that he can do possibly anything to get what he wants and stabbing people right in the back. Let the reign of terror begin of MJF's era!

If dominic was doing that gimic in AEW, he would have to do even more extreme things to get heat. Its tough to be a heel these days, as our degenerate culture enjoys degenerate psychopathic behavior... so heels get cheered now

The best part about this is the fact that MJF and I are at the exact same age of being 26 years old.

It's well-known that eventually, Max will have to turn face, as much as he doesn't want to, but he's gonna keep it going for as long as he can, and I'm all for it. I'm genuinely a big fan of his work.

He can be a anti-hero like SCSA. A tweener if you will. Turning him face is not going to happen, his character will not work with him being a face. It will water him down and the fans will be put off, just like the fans were put off a face Roman Reigns

What a stupid point to make, him and Lesnar only ever show up for PPV to wrestle. You might get them on TV once or twice a year if you're lucky cause they're bored. The way he closed the segment with the whole email thing from about a month ago or so was perfect. Nice way to get Regal off tv and behind the scenes

MJF is by far one of the biggest heels in AEW through thick and thin. Hopefully AEW doesn’t screw this up with him on top of the world

Ricky Starks is already marked for death he will lose against MJF, they’re not going to give the title to Kingston he’s a part time wrestler, and Bryan Danielson is the next PPV and he ain’t winning. Who’s next? He has beaten Hangman, Darby, Sammy, Mox, orange, etc. Who’s left? Omega, Wardlow, and Cm punk (I feel like he’ll be back.)
