But the way MJF decided to take a second to think about it then attempt to leave it alone shows just how much he has evolved. Earlier MJF would have hit him with the Dynamite Diamond Ring still on his finger. Seeing him realize that and take it off, that's growth. Shows that Max doesn't need to stoop to Joe's level, as Joe wants him to.
