It’s been five years and I still can’t get over the fact that we get great matches like this on weekly television. Credit to both of these guys.

Not a hater or anything, but it seems AEW likes to give out a lot of matches that should have been on a ppv. For some examples there was this match, Edge vs Christian I quit match, Cody Rhodes vs Sammy Guevara ladder match, Samoa Joe vs Minoru Suzuki, FTR vs Bullet Club Gold, Bryan Danielson vs Kenny Omega, CM Punk vs MJF (yes I know they had a ppv match but before that one they had a 45 minute match on Dynamite a few weeks before that ppv), ect. But hey, I’ll take a free ppv match on tv rather than pay an extra $60.00 to buy a ppv.

Bryan Danielson is my favorite signing in AEW history. He has successfully filled the gap after the departures of Cody Rhodes and CM Punk. He is a modern day Ace in Wrestling and the Shawn Michaels of this Generation.

I wouldn't say he filled that gap, since nobody could fill that gap, they were both close to Danielson's level and two of the best AEW ever had, and both should still be here, and losing them was the two biggest mistakes AEW ever made. Also, Danielson is way better than Shawn Michaels. He isn't the new anybody, he is the first and only Brian Danielson.

I guess it was. Too many kick outs in the match. Page did a tombstone, a spike pile driver, and the Deadeye, still Bryan kicked, yet lose to a rollover.

Double J with the slowest counts in history

The chemistry these two have is a must watch. Hangman will be in Blood & Guts in 2 weeks, Danielson will have the best and final year of his career.

I wasn't expecting Bryan to win but this is still great. If Bryan is going to retire then this is a good way to go out. After him then we get Hangman and Swerve. I am enjoying the unhinged Hangman. It's compelling and justified. The more he waits to get his shot at Swerve the more unhinged he becomes.

Danielson only has a little bit of time left as a full time competitor. Gonna be wrestling like every match is his last.

Yall think Page's left shoulder being up was a botch? More like a way to find his way into the story. An unjustified loss.

Hangman can take over feuding with Swerve AFTER Wembley. He really has no business in the main event of the biggest PPV of the year over Danielson, Ospreay, and MJF. Hangman is a second string main eventer.

Afterwards, a pummeled Nigel takes to the ring and issues a lawsuit Bryan and AEW, threatening the latter to take action against the former, which leads Bryan to appear and make a rebuttal, only for Nigel to reveal that he came prepared for Bryan appearing in front of him, as [Insert wrestler here] comes out and beats Bryan up. From there, it builds up to a match between Bryan and [Insert wrestler here], where if Bryan wins, Nigel will be forced to dropped the lawsuit against Bryan, and if [Insert wrestler here] wins, Bryan will either be suspended indefinitely or fired from AEW.

This match is why I'm still in love with AEW 5 plus years later

My prediction since last month was Dennison would win the title at All In and retire on the spot. Looks more and more like it will happen.

That final sequence at the end (Surprise Roll-Up to Labell Lock to Deadeye, Kick Out, Buckshot Lariat, counter to Bridge w/ pin, right into a Cross-Face and eventually roll-up pin) was a think of beauty! Solid 4 3/4 star match.

New Hangman is just toooo good. Wouldn't mind if he best swerve even Danielson.
