His voice is so emotionally expressive in this one. You can almost feel like you're sitting there with him in the car. Josh is driving I think, so must be Kai filming. Ren is always the director though, he decides how he wants the filming to be done.

Capturing the stark isolation of snow covered Calgary streets, showing the flashing lights of police barricades and distant trees across a lonely field at night just accentuate the emotion of the lyrics and laments of Ren's heart. This is a vulnerable, intimate expression of his past experiences. He is unzipping his chest to reveal his past, which enables his present. To gloss over all that with detached, forensic analysis is to miss the art and sensitivity of Ren's attempt to convey something important to him. But you did justice to this piece of art, which is rare. Good job!

Kai on camera. He smashed it!. Josh is driving. Ren directs. Just watched the BTS on his Patreon. His feet and legs are helping to hold the taped and wedged mic. Computer and leads in the well, and the neon red light on the back of the drivers seat . He makes my heart hurt.
