Welcome to the Wood Fired Oven Cooking video series from Eat More Vegans! This series is all about taking recipes you might make in your kitchen and pumping them up by cooking them in a wood fired oven instead! I use a La Piazza Toscana wood oven - but these recipes will work in any wood fired oven. You can watch the whole series here: • Wood Fired Oven Cooking

    Stupid GOOD! I love it guys and yes I do this in my Green Egg to get the smoke taste next weekend after I find those spices and buy the meat and tomatoes. This is what I call stepping it up a whole bunch of notches, a whole lot more of these ideas guys. Nick you are a master at videoing and please keep doing what you are doing with the panning close ups of what Al is doing. Thanks for getting the temperature gauge in the shots with the times. This helps me understand the cooks and how yours goes compared to what I do. It helps me plan how far ahead of eating time that I need to start. I moved back into my house and using my Green Egg again. Sunday I do a Corish Game hen cook for Easter dinner. You guys with your cooks have been a God Sin during my 2.3 years in a hotel while rebuilding my house.

  • @BehindTheFoodTV

    @BehindTheFoodTV

    You can definitely do it in a BGE - it will just be tough to have the sauce and ribs in there at the same time so I'd just make the sauce on stovetop until it's time to combine. Oh - and I'm getting less and less thrilled with Kamado Joe these days so there might be a change coming. You will see some of my frustration in next week's video (spoiler alert!)
