We played this song at my mums funeral. Finally she was reunited with her big love again. I still can’t listen to this song without crying even though it has been 3 years now that she left us. I miss you so much mum and dad!

Many ladies have come close since her,especially Jennifer Nettles. However, it's probably a huge and correct call. In about 1979 or 1984,when she was at her peak, before becoming an excellent actress, she had one of the best voices ever. 👍😁🍺

I have cardiomyopathy. The same disease that Hillary had in the movie "beaches" starring Bette. It is controlled by medication, but I cannot stop the deterioration of my heart. I have already made my funeral arrangements and one of the songs is "The Rose". Peace
