My younger sister passed away unexpectedly on 6 June 2023...........this is one of the truest songs I will ever know about her. She was a greater person than I'll EVER be..........Rest In Peace & Power, Rachel Jane Siegel!!!

I am glad to say I went to see Bette in Ceasers Palace live in Las Vegas and my god she sang The Wind Beneath my Wings last and I cried ...it went straight to my heart ❤️.... Thank God for Bette Midler ...and I also went to Celine Dion in Las Vegas ...soooo Sad I am grieving for her loss of voice soooo much and for Celine Dion...these are people who sang songs to the world that touched our hearts and souls ...god bless them all . Living and dead !

For those of us who watched the horrors of 9/11 unfolding live, this concert was a comfort. Look at the emotion I the faces of the audience. Everyone hard been to hell & back. Bette reads the crowd & manages to be uplifting. The concert was for the 1st responders - many of whom had passed just days before. What a wonderful performer. 💖

Bette is a beautiful singer. This song brings tears to my eyes. I lost my dear husband and my heart was broken as well as my sons. He was our hero..such a good man and grandfather. Thankful for this song.
