Betraying the Game: Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigates football in Africa - BBC Africa Eye documentary

Ойын-сауық

Almost one hundred football officials across West Africa and Kenya have been caught on camera accepting cash in a sting operation. It’s part of a two-year long undercover investigation by controversial Ghanaian journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
BBC Africa Eye has had exclusive access to the footage for their latest documentary. In one case a World Cup bound assistant referee from Kenya accepted six hundred dollars from a man posing as an official of a Ghanaian premiership team.

Anas is like Oliver Queen(Green Arrow). He will expose crime through vigilantism and you wouldn't like his approach, especially those who perpetrated the crime. His expose will pierce your heart like an arrow and you will feel the pain, some may even blame him and call him all sought of names but one fact is, abt 99% people, including myself consider him a hero and if u dont like his method stop corruption ooooooooo tom. #episode12

You can bribe EVERYONE with the right amount of money. I'm sure that if you put European referees in the same position as African referees they would accept the money too. Why didn't Anas try to bribe referees here in Europe? He would not even be able to pay them since a mere 500 dollar wouldn't pull off the job.

Of course you idiot, but this is a "sting" the giver here is an investigative journalist proving the degree of corruption, not a gangster trying to actually sway the outcome of the game. Well, the journalist might have made some side bets to finance this expose.........but that's not the point! (lol)
