You're the only reason I'm going to pass pharmacology this semester. Your depth of knowledge and understanding astounds me with every lecture. This is my very first KZread comment ever and it's well deserved!! Keep kicking ass!! THANK YOU!!!
He really fills in all the gaps that my professors seem to skip over. This guy has saved me so many times. I just want to remind everyone to like his videos and subscribe to his channel. I mean if you watched any part of his videos or the entire thing. It is nothing for us but helps him out so much. I appreciate this channel and all the work that goes into it. Keep up the great work.
I just came from my cardiologist’s office and wanted some information on beta blockers, which he just prescribed. Your lecture was done so well that I watched it to the end and was surprised at how understandable you made it. Thank you! I’m sure you really ARE helping those commenting below get through medical courses with how well you teach the material.
I'm never not impressed when watching these videos. The breadth of your biological and anatomical knowledge is really astounding and enviable.

For some time (around Two years), I was maintaining my prescription medication to keep my high blood pressure not until this month I recently found about this t.co/GsO1JmyXtf therapy. A doctor has verified it too. Really dont require the drugs previously prescribed to me. .
Am so blessed i found you 😭😭 I am having exams in a month i want more PHARMACOLOGY LECTURES PLZ SR upload them you are the only teacher whom i understand pharma . No other channels helps me,😭😭
Thank you very much for taking the time to explain the three kinds of Beta blockers. For years I have taken atenolol for angina. Started in 1981. I am now 74 years old and have calcification in my heart. The doctor has taken me off atenolol and put me onCarvedilol. Your video is so good that I am going to watch it for the second time. I am very grateful to have found your video
I absolutely love this channel. It's the only thing keeping me sane through FNP school. I may have listened to "double block that AV node" a few too many times but it helped me remember not to give beta blockers and calcium channel blockers together!
Nebivolol: A Novel Beta 1-Blocker with Nitric Oxide-Induced Vasodilatation very unique among other class . Good tolerability.Nebivolol is approved in Europe/Asia/Africa and Middle east countries widely used . ( particularly in asthma and COPD patients where other beta blockers are contraindicated)

Can you, please, explain "cytokine storm" as it applies to Covid19? Particularly IL-6 (interleukin6) and its medication anti medication. I think you're very brilliant and consider it a blessing to have you with us. Is there another way of giving donations that aren't done via internet? It's very important to help you with your mission...

As someone who just started taking bisoprolol this video really helped understand what's actually supposed to be happening, what's going wrong and how the beta blockers will fix it as well as all potential risks! Big thanks! 😊
I have been watching Ninja Nerd for a few months now and i think no one can explain better than these videos man !

You explain it all so very well. You draw the map so completely between all the systems so when I making driving my car trying to decide which way to go I have your road map to make clinical decisions. You were great I love you
I’m an Italian md, this is the best channel i ever watched. Amazing job! 🙌🙌🙏🙏
14 mins in and I just know I have myself a new tutor. Excellent. Bravo. I'm speechless
Love your content, it's saving me right now! Small point, but I learned that an indication for beta blockers in heart failure is to offset the ongoing effects of sympathetic activation in CHF. Obviously the sympathetic effects are good in acute settings, but in chronic settings the sympathetics are part of what leads to the pathophys of chronic CHF. I feel like that fills in a gap when you discuss indications! The ongoing compensation via autonomics can (paradoxically) lead to decompensation via physiologic/structural changes, but once the patient is decompensated you don't want to interfere with the autonomic compensation response because it is too little too late.
You made my studying a very comprehensive one! I cant thank you enough! I'm taking my NCLEX soon and you are a huge help!
Love you Sir...How much complex is the topic doesn't matter. .He makes it simple in so many ways. ..
Starting my Pharmacy Degree next year and I can already see that your videos are going to extremely helpful.

I've just been diagnosed with SVT. I currently have DVT, PE, COPD-2, PAD and CAD. Checking what side effects Beta Blockers have. General, instead of being bedridden or close to it. I'm now going to be able to slow my tachycardia but now loose more quality of life due to diarrhea, increased edema, vision problems (had Glaucoma since 2000),... It seems the best move now is to purchase a 38' because I will never have any quality of life ever again. My entire family is gone, what friends I had are no more. I live in a van with the minimalist of life's aids with no Healthcare luxuries. From what I could understand and learn, the Second Generation might help...but again, too many negative side effects especially living alone. Praying doesn't work anymore.

I'm not a Med student but I love your presentations. I am a retired electronic engineer and now believe the human race runs on cellular MilliVolts levels and other chemical interactions I have yet to understand. Thanks!
hey really greart vids im thinking about to show them to my profs and they would see how online classes could be actually good
I love your in depth explanation and rationale for each drugs, very informative and easy to understand. well done and keep the good work. Well recommended. Good bless and keep safe.
Extremely nice and clear clarification. Tank you .
Unbelievable how good your lectures are!!! Thank you so much ❤️
You are the very best. Occasionally, when going over important concepts, it might be best to slow down a bit on the speed of your speech. Because you are so familiar and well versed in the subject, I can understand why you feel the need for speed in order to cover the subject completely in the short amount of time you have. Nonetheless, you are the VERY BEST lecturer I have ever encountered in my life.

LOL, simple concept, right? I'm off to get my alcoholic beverage to act on my overstimulated brain cells. I truly appreciate how this is all broken down VISUALLY so that I can truly grasp the concepts. This is the first and only site I go to for pharm and theory. Thank you so much!
Best teacher in the world ,Thank you so much ❤️
Definitely the best pharmacology lecture
FANTASTIC LECTURING SKILL!!!
you are the best teacher I have encountered in science. I really appreciate you.
Great job!!! love your all your lectures.
Beautiful fact he enjoys teaching ......lots of love to him❤️
I got prescribed propranolol for anxiety after alcohol withdrawal, and, true to form, taking them has started causing me anxiety, lol. They do work really well for reducing the sweats, shakes, tachypnea and tachycardia, but they don't directly impact the mental aspect- one could even say that they approach anxiety from the other direction that benzos do. Benzos calm the brain, which calms the body, Inderal calms the body, which allows the mind to calm down. So now I'm watching videos like this one, so I can calm my hypochondriac ass down further, lmao. It's helping, too, so thanks. I'll dazzle my doctor with my knowledge during our next visit.
thankyou for the beautiful explanation. please make videos on every topic of pharmacology, microbiology.
Love this lecture
This is a legacy u leaving behind, we really appreciate ur lecture

A friend closed to me have used also this t.co/GsO1JmyXtf high blood pressure treatment I stumbled upon on His blood pressure levels was stroke level 158/120. The result of the program can be seen right away especially if you eat the proper foodstuff. Right after Two weeks, he has seen a gradual decrease in his high blood pressure to 128/84.
Thank you for the awesome overview. The labeling of the funny Na++ channel inside the pacemaker cell is "Ca++" (should be Na++) - around minute 23, 24 in the video.
I take carvedilol and lisinopril for high blood pressure. I have mild diastolic dysfunction and mild aorta widening as well as long QT Syndrome. I love your videos and indepth explainations!

Trying Propranolol for migraine prevention (day three so far). I also have extrne levels of generalized anxiety and slightly high blood pressure. Week long migraine gone as of yesterday. No negative side effects so far.
Much impressive lecture. Keep ur efforts continue. ❤
This is one of your hardest videos ive seen so far.
Intriguing. My BP before propanol was high with migraines and anxiety. Now my BP is either still high or super low. My thinking is leaning to me to Pheochromocytoma.
Very beneficial information to nurses thank you
