Would someone please explain the insane practice of racism to me again? The sheer intelligence, class, talent, and technique of Earl Klugh and his band are certainly on the highest plane! I have been listening to Earl Klugh since the late 70's and songs like _Rayna_ , _Take it From the Top_ and _Whispers & Promises_ has changed my life's soundtrack in so many ways and I can't thank him enough. If you want to hear the depth of Earl's humanity, listen to his album, _Late Night Guitar_ and _Heartstring_ . If you need calm, get those. BTW when you listen to the SOLO Guitar album, know that there are NO overdubs! IT's all him in a single take

I always love Earl Klugh's guitar picking, whether it be with words or just sound. It is never boring.

Bravo. Simply Brilliant. I have been an Earl Klugh Fan since I was a teenager back in the early 80s and I am a Middle aged man now. His Music still moves me. So Smooth, Sophisticated and Melodious. It touches your Soul. I am quite surprised he Didn't win more Grammys. A great Collection of talented Musicians supporting this Set.

Wow this brings back so much memories of my early days listening to earl klugh with my yellow and blue Walkman 🤦😊 and this is oct 2022 and am still listening to him.

Earl has such a flawless technique. Truly a master of his instrument.

There no words to describe this man's talent.

I actually met Earl Klugh. I worked at a restaurant in West Bloomfield, MI, in the late 80's-early 90's. He came in on a regular basis, always had a beautiful woman with him, and always smiled. If I was with any of the gorgeous women who came in with him, I'd be smiling, too. He was also a really nice guy and always had time for a fan.

Life Stories Tour in 86 was the first time I ever dropped cash for a jazz concert. He was at Center Stage in Atlanta and I barely had enough money as a recent college grad to get into that piece. That dude did damage that night and I have seen him a few times since. As lovers of the art form know, great music moves, soothes and stays with you.

Today is the 25th of October 2023, after 7 years I still find it refreshing. Thanks so much for good music.

Earl Klugh's live performance is just as lovely and pure as his CD. Great musician...!

I grew up heavily influenced by heavy metal but Earl Klugh has always been my go to playlist when I just want to have a peaceful moment.

The master at his game. With one amazing band. I have this on dvd and I’ve watched it so many times it’s ridiculous and here I am watching it again.

Listen to the drummer... he is one heck of a backbone to this amazing music!

Great and wonderful music by Earl klugh...I've always enjoyed Earl's music since i was young and when i decided to learn the guitar, I've tried to play like him and still continue to enjoy it. I'm getting there little by little. Thanks to God for Earl Klugh....great guy with such great talent. Credits to all the other players, without them the music wouldn't have been so rich.

Eventually ....dr macumba...live, it's been my favorite song of earl since I'm in high school on 1980....dear God it's 37 years ago and the tunes still whispering my ears !....

WOW-DISCIPLINED,PROPHETIC,ADDICTIVE,-Just a few words that describe this talented genius of a musical agent.

For some reason the producers failed to mention the most important people in this video: the musicians. Their names are not on the DVD case either. Here's part of Lenny Price's (saxophone) comment on Amazon (notice the subtle sarcasm). -- My name is Lenny Price. I have been touring and recording as the saxophonist with jazz legend Earl Klugh for more than three years. I purchased "The Jazz Channel Presents Earl Klugh (BET on Jazz)" DVD and discovered that the members of Earl's band are not credited for our performance. It seems this detail was omitted during the complicated process of preparing the packaging and end credits for this product. ... I was introduced to Earl music by Khozi FM South African (Zulu) Radio Station - "Ezisoze Zabunda" (Music that will not die) program.

Earl Klugh's signature runs across the strings and bars are so intuitive and mesmerizing. Within every song he can lift you to soulful heights that you never knew existed. Play on for evermore. We have close, but there is nothing to compare.

Earl with his band such great artistry. Music in your heart forever.

Earl Klugh still calms my soul. And that's a stage full of talent. I used to pay $10 extra on my digital cable bill for BET on Jazz. Each day they'd have 6 hours of programming shown 4 times with the goofiest commercials like SpinMop or Faith Hill singing "This Kiss" talking about a charity. Worth every damn dime. I miss it.

Lenny Price’s sax solo on ‘Private Affair’ stands out, I remember listening to that song on my IPod several years ago and digging it but it’s even better live!

I have never ceased to love this performance since the early 2000s that I first saw it. The lady at 8:18 gets me smiling everytime

Made my kids on he's music :)) On a serious "note" , my eldest son 17 yrs old named after him just finished school. Not a guitarist but at least a damn good drummer.

Been listening to him since he came out and have several of his albums in collection. Phenomenal player. 🔥🔥🎵🎵
