When I studied Jazz in college, the running joke with my Professors was "If you don't know that answer select Miles Davis, there's a 60% chance you might be right." 😂😂 Such a geat musician. RIP brother Miles. ❤❤❤
Even in 2022, this song is incredible, thank you Miles Davis and RIP

MILES DAVIS "Perhaps the greatest jazz musician of the 20th century... Miles Davis is so important to jazz because of his ability to continually evolve. This evolution resulted in a continuous impact on the world of jazz that saw Miles move from bebop to helping found cool jazz, hard bop, third stream music, and fusion jazz, as well as staying in the avant-garde of jazz music for much of his career. His innovations forever changed jazz, and although a great trumpet player, he is most remembered for his stylistic innovations." aaep1600.osu.edu/index.php
Fabulously beautiful sounds that are timeless, Miles Dewey Davis musical masterpieces are still unmatched.....the HIGH Priest of Jazz.....RIP GREAT ONE......ASE

@@rmac1042 loved his album..the sound of paul horn on columbia and of course his album on hi-fi jazz. There was some great jazz in los angeles at the time (i was there from 61 to 69) charles lloyd, bill evans, monk, ornette, konitz, etc.!!

Alan Senzaki I remember Paul’s band at the Renaissance... Red Mitchell, 5-string bass, Emil Richards, vibes; (I was a vibist then-studied with Bobby Hutcherson); Paul Mohr, piano; I don’t recall for sure, but I think Billy Higgins was the drummer; I could be wrong.
Started off Human Nature and turned into a jazz funky music session...outstanding.
Such a Blessing to watch him...
When a band leader hears the right musician he knows that he will Bring It.
Immortale..... sempre rimarrà vivo con la sua storia e la sua musica....
Thank you for sharing this memory. 🙏🏼
ANIMALLLLL ! Bestia Sagradaaaa!! First time I've heard Miles Davis was in 1990. I was in bed with hepatitis and my then boyfriend, a bass player, brought a video from some music festival where Miles performed this. Ever since, and forever: MILES !
Rip miles, you were the best. We still love you
Miles Davis sought to elicit collective improvisation in all his bands. As his thinking evolved, he promoted more rhythmic interaction by reducing the harmonic progressions to what ultimately elicited the highest order of rhythmic agreement. That has always been the joy in jazz for me.

This concert was certainly one of the best I have ever visited.
La trompeta de mr Miles Davis sigue dos caminos, el sonido puro del jazz improvisado, y el sonido Arábigo Andaluz con notas puramente Españolas, el saxo es fantásticamente algo de otra galaxia....

I agree...His music makes me feel good.
No one has ever played as good as they did with miles !
When I first heard Miles’s rendition of Human Nature I was pleasantly perplexed. A part of me was just so glad to hear him voice the tune even though I was worried it was cheating choosing such a popular and seemingly safe cover. However once you factor in Quincy’s involvement in the original and the words I just relaxed and let it happen. Lol I was taken to NYC on an early summer night cruising through admiring the city lights and the busy atmosphere from the safe and tranquil passenger seat... That’s what this will forever evoke for me.

The last concert Miles played with his band was not in Vienne in France, but in Vienna, Austria. It was the Saturday night where the equipment of the band came way too late to Vienna from Stuttgart where they played the night before. The concert only started at about 11 pm. Of course it was great, I remember how incredibly good Kenny played that night
