BestArc Mig 145 Welder Better than Harbor Freight Titanium Welders - Great Welder Great Value

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Today we look at a new welder that is a great value specially when compared to the Harbor Freight Titanium Welders. This BestArc Mig 145 is a multiprocess welder that allows you to use Mig gas and gasless welding, tig and stick welding. Not all the Titanium welders from Harbor Freight are Multiprocess like this unit. This Best Arc 145 Mig welder also works on both 120V or 240V which not all the Harbor Freight welders can do. The Bestarc 145 welder is compact, lightweight and brings a lot of accessories with it. This unit also has a great feature where the wire spool is located on top of the unit instead of on the side like many welders on the market. This BestArc 145 is a very affordable unit that is great for a beginner and allows you a lot of room to grow and expand to learning different welding processes. Instead of getting one cheap welder and buying better ones in the future as you learn, this is a great machine for both beginner and professionals alike. The best part is that this Bestarc 145 mig welder costs a fraction of the price of the Harbor Freight Titanium Multiprocess welder and bring a longer warranty. So the Bestarc Mig145 Welder costs less money plus you get more features and capabilities than what the Harbor Freight Titanium welders offer.

Suggest you enroll in a junior college and take a course in welding. Then you will know the basics in doing welding right. This would give you a good foundation on moving forward. Still a great video of this product.

On welding helmets there is no real adjusting of the darkness... You need to get used to directing your movements before the shade kicks on.

These welds don't look like the correct polarity. Should be on negative polarity. Try going only in one direction consistently along the weld seam.

Thanks for the info. I set up the polarity as it said to do in the manual for Flux Wire. The info could be wrong. Will it cause any damage if I experiment and change the polarity on the machine? Right now I think the Earth clamp is set to positive, and the machine to Negative.

@@ModernDIYProjects That's the way it's supposed to be set up negative on the torch and positive on the work clamp. It won't hurt the machine to switch it around but having seen several reviews of this machine, I believe bestarc did it right unless you got a dud. Your nozzle should also be 3/8 to 1/2 inch away from what you're welding to avoid porosity. Also look up some info and establishing your drag angle.

You have one of the old tombstones? Wow, those are classics. But you should never stop learning my friend. We are close in age and I am learning new things every day. I have to for this job. 😅 😅

Lighten your darkness and get your face closer so you can see the puddle and make a D motion as you go ... grind your surfaces before you weld...when you use gas with solid wire you wont get as much splatter
