Mojang should make a netherite sponge that is crafted with 1 netherite and 1 sponge and it drains lava just like a normal sponge

@@basdejong1598 It's not that hard tbh. You only need enough materials to build one and destroy it once it's done. It is a good idea to build this in a closed area so there aren't lava oceans nearby so ghasts wouldn't be a problem. And even if they were I would gladly kill them because they NEVER spawn in my nether.

I have a feeling the devs are considering removing tnt duplication. If they removed zero ticking and afk fishing, it seems they won’t be too far behind.

This is so helpful. My server buddies will be so surprised when I will be rockin’ netherite armour in a day after the update

I love this but its not balanced at all. Shame because this could get tnt duping patched. Bring on movable tile entities.

This would also be a good way to get a lot of quartz as well, especially in an area where all the surface stuff has been mined out. As Techman88 also says for the original purpose of this design, it would be great to use in the overworld initially for mining and then mob farms with the subsequent hole.

@@WhatIsMyWhy quartz does have a higher blast resistance than netherrack so there will be some exposed but yes lots will be destroyed

This is great, planning to do a big netherhub at the bottom of the nether (so that we might find more netherite while digging our tunnels) and this seems like a great way to excavate a somewhat natural looking cave-dome

I have built a nether perimeter myself and I know for sure that this is not a good way to make one! You would have to make ~150 of those machines and also move the Obsidian down stepwise!

*We need renewable explosives.* Making TNT the proper way takes an ungodly amount of sand, and that sand is non-renewable. They should just replace TNT with powder kegs, changing the recipe to a barrel, some gunpowder, and some string - each of which are renewable.

this is an awesome idea, but I'm afraid it would nullify TNT completely.. There would have to be some differences. Maybe even better would be a way to make renewable sand and gravel with cobblestone in some way

ur world is 6 mil blocks^2 and deserts aren't very rare. if u spend your whole life digging sand u will probably never get all of it :)

@@jonahwilhelm8409 I really can't imagine that. In fact, I feel confident that the Boomers will never use a TNT duper. Tango is on record (one or two videos ago) as saying he looks poorly on them, and on anyone who uses them. Because he and Impulse are such close Minecraft friends, I suspect that means Impulse wouldn't use them either.

Having been bed mining for a while now, I really want to try this out because the yield seems so much better.

shopping list 2 Tnt 2 detector rail 2 mine cart 8 cobble wall 15 slime blocks 4 tube coral fans 3 sticky pistons 1 leaves 1 observer 6 stone Redstone 1 stripped log 1 furnace 1-2 levers 5 Redstone

Making this in the overworld for a huge quarry to make a super efficient creeper farm! :D

With this debris will be easier to get then diamond... Good Job!

This works like a charm. But even normal TNT mining works very good too! I got 20 scraps with 64 TNT, very nice!

I personally dont use duplication glitches in my survival world, but this looks really tempting

Nah, tnt duping isn't duping. But you can also use dispensers I guess. Maybe have 4 dispensers in a square and have them fire one by one

Could you make that into a flying machine where you could move it manually and then do it again in a new location?

Cool machine, but I’m also hoping future updates will give us tools/buffs that make debris hunting more fun without exploits.

Better nether caves under the lava lakes would be great. Imagine if it got darker the lower you went, and there were creepy things roaming the caves... Maybe even gravel roofs. One cave-in could mean an entire flood of lava.

Wj11jam Exactly! The eventual cave update could span dimensions and include new buried ruins and structures that reveal ore veins if you can navigate the terrain. Simply filling the nether with lava always felt a bit lazy tbh.

I see what you did there..

The fact we can explode tbt without lag makes me fell like theres something wrong. I get old beta ptsd lol.

I built this on a 1.16.2 paper server, the thing blew me up. Somehow the duped TNT was pushed by the block of TNT and ended up on or in the stone wall. I don't even know how or why that is possible, but it happened. It was fine on single fire, but in rapid mode it lasted a whole 4 seconds. If you're building this on a server I recommend keeping your distance to see if this works or not.

a fun video would be to have a race, one person builds this and one person strip mines, to see who can get the most.

You could make that with just 2 observers facing each other and powering the piston instead of that log-leaves thing

The world dl puts me in spectator mode so I can't really check if it works there or not. For what I can see, I built the same thing, but in my world, the slime block will not stick to the sticky piston, idk if something got updated with 16.5. Any ideas?

an idea would be to add another set of dupers on the other side of the original ones then doubling the design on the other side to have 4 sets of dupers running

Please help - Finding it impossible to place the dead coral fan without having a block underneath it. Realized on a paper smp server, checked on normal vanilla survival and unable to place any dead coral fan on the side of any block - it has to be on the top of a block i.e "supported" ANY IDEAS? I'm seeing a flustercluck of tnt duper videos with the same designs using dead coral fan and it's frustrating seeing everyone else place it in apparently 1.16 with no problem... im playing 1.16.5

Why cant I place dead coral on the sides of surface blocks in 20w20b? Possibly a duper patch attempt?

For larger systems, have you thought of using blast chambers? If you make the Ancient Debris into block 36 you could collect it automatically!

@@SnowyBlizzardMC When a block is halfway through being pushed by a piston, it is converted into block 36, a special block which can have half a stone block and half a piston head in it, for example. Block 36 has blast resistance 0, so moving ancient debris could be blown up by TNT.

I did this and it works as of 20w30a, but it VERY frequently blew up a machine when built at Y:35 and a platform at Y:22 to spread out the explosions.

i was mining on a local server for debris and i heard count less explosion from behind me a few blocks away and like when i turned around 5 to 8 tnt were right in my face! the guys felt bad and compensated me with a few stacks of netherite tho XD

The problem for me is that I can’t find a place without lava, I did the composter glitch to look for a place found one and then apparently you can see through lava with the composter glitch

I'm playing bedrock and when the machine moves, the minecarts go flying off and the dead coral breaks. Is it safe to say this doesn't work in bedrock?

At 2:20 you say that we should try to avoid the large under ground lava pools. But if we are are in survival how are we supposed to where they are with out some type of x ray?

Hey when I use this duper the coral fan closest to the piston gets destroyed, it works on singleplayer but it breaks on a server I play on.
