    Because of how huge the perimeter you have is, I would recommend the fabric mod "Bobby" as it can render chunks that are unloaded by not really rendering any changes, it basically shows how an unloaded chunk looked to create an amazing render distance, for a reference Docm77 uses it on the hermitcraft server and runs at normal frames with a roughly 100 lazy chunk render distance!

    Noobie question, when you get near the bottom, why do you not use a flying machine to gather the ancient debris together in a single spot? Is it just because you can't sweep the lava in the same area that you are trying to blow up blocks in without pushing the ancient debris further down? I feel like there must be a way to make the flying machines approach at different angles that could get the ancient debris out the way. Or like a machine that moves the entire top layer of blocks up out of the lava, then blow up the other blocks and bring the ancient debris back.

    the piston push limit probably, though there's probably a way to make a machine that pushes the stack of near block limit blocks upwards and continues. you could probably make a 6 stacks high machine (on average there'd be 30 blocks in a row so 3 rows should be good, but doubling it to be safe seems like a good idea)

    I wonder if there's any worth in compressing the ancient debris into larger clumps. The biggest problem I see with that is individual flying machines hitting push limit too quickly to be worth it. Maaaybe there's a possibility of having the flying machine return to home, then smartly graze over the top of the first clump, then lower back down once and onto the next clump(s). That said, I don't knowucb about flying machines, but I'm definitely gonna play with them more after being inspired by this video!

  • @JKM115

    @JKM115

    The problem with that concept is that the debris are on the same level as leftover blocks, so if you made a machine that would push the blocks to the south side of the perimeter, it would also push netherrack and blackstone which is way more abundant than the debris
