For those of you who are curious, she talked about the glycerin mist recipe in her in-flight skincare routine video (she added rose water in that video): 50 ml distilled water, 50 ml rose water, and 30 ml glycerin

Oh my God, nobody ever talks about this. Environment is a huge factor in wearing your effing moisturizer and having it actually work…. Aside from the fact that we over 50 lovelies need a bit of chemical exfoliation prior to our moisturizer (IMHO) big hugs crazy Shereene you’re always on the run. Love you to pieces ❤

I use Beauty of Joseon sunscreen in summer as well to hot and humid in Houston
its such SUCH a pain to have dry skin during summer in a city with over 90% humidity! cant use oily skin products cuz they dehydrate my skin, cant use my usual dry products cuz i sweat them off and end up breaking out. this video is such a life saver 😭😭 need an entire series of this for the rest of the seasons

Seriously! Not being able to use my usual moisturizer has my rosacea flaring up, but I get too congested and break out if I do!
Thank you for producing this exceptional video that addresses the specific skincare needs of different skin types and climates.
I'm a big fan of tinted Isdin with spf. I have oily t zone in humid Louisiana. I love how it sinks in and I don't feel oily. I appreciate you breaking down the moisturizer according to environment. I visit family in Idaho which is very dry and I never know why my skin reacts to my typical products differently. Good stuff!
I’m binge watching! I just found you and I’m obsessed with all the knowledge
Loved, lived this pillow talk. Thanks for taking the time to make it, even when yiu had to rush. Your suggestions and honest opinions are always appreciated!
I haven’t even watched it yet and I’m so excited! This is exactly what I need. I have oily-normal skin depending on conditions, and I just moved from HOT and dry to temperate/cool and humid climate. But it’s summer here and I don’t feel hot until the humidity creeps up on me and I’ve sweat everything off and I don’t know when or how or why😂 Edit: YES I knew it! I was using a lightweight moisturizer, emollient and occlusive interchangeably to fix my Tret problems and I was greasing up and breaking out like crazy.
I asked my husband how old is she and he gave her 28, so I’m listening carefully 😀
Thank you Dr. Shereene! This is sooo helpful!
Absolutely loved the new products you showed and YOU HAIR🎀
Your hair looks beautiful! Thank you for this video.
Love the volume in the hair!!! 😍😍
Hair looks amazing!!!! I love the spf suggestion. I’m combination to oily skin and have a hard time finding the perfect Mattifying spf
THANKS all these people talking about moisturising when it's hot and humid and I'm oily
My fav dermatologist who brings expensive af like SkinCeauticals and cheap-effective Nivea I combine expensive serums with general moisturizer and get up in the morning like a glazed donut🍩 Get yourself the perfect serum and then lock it with a general moisturizer...Nerd learned it❤
I love the 9 Wishes line. Their toner Ampoule is very hydrating as a first step after cleansing. But the entire Hydra line is wonderful. Also the Neutrogena hydra Boost fragrance free lotion in the tall blue bottle is perfect for very dry skin. Keeps skin moist. Dermatologist, Dr Dray says you can use that on your face as well as body.😉
Hair looks great! Enjoyed the “special guests”!
I’m glad to have seen your content especially on sunscreen
Your this video out of all videos on internet is amazing. I have oily skin and I live in extreme humid environment. Though I don’t moisturise, but I keep listening all around, “ you have to moisturise”. And I am always puzzled. But you have answered to this situation thanks ❤

I was JUST thinking about this topic! Thank you!
Lol I actually loved how the curls turned out! I thought your hair looked beautiful ❤️
Yes! hydration and moisture are two different things. In my case my skin is dry and dehydrated; so I have to add a lot of water and oil, but the fat part changes during the seasons and the humidity. Also; I LOVE LOVE LOVE rose water and glycerine spray for my face after my serum and after makeup; it makes my makeup look like skin

Where I live it is humid in the summer and dry in the winter. My skin changes so much it is crazy and requires different products. In the winter my skin barrier is horrible and dry. In summer I am almost oily.

@@hippybecca I’m the same! My skin is still trying to recover from winter. My nose and chin are starting to become oilier, but my skin in my cheeks is still dry dehydrated and easily irritated. I’ve been slugging at night and it’s helping the skin on my cheeks recover.
I have oily skin and live in the Netherlands, so it is quite dry. I use SKII essence, vitamin C from vichy then spf from cosrx. It has work wonders under my makeup! If I use any type of moisturizer I feel too oily by the end of the day.

Dutchie here. I have dry skin, and my go-to daycreme is Rêve de Miel by Nuxe. During summertime however I start with a sprits of thermal water, then Vichy 89 serum and Ole Henriksen peptide boost moisturizer. For SPF I use summer and winter La Roche Posay Anthelios UV Mune 400, a hydrating sunscreen SPF50+. Most of the time The Netherlands are humid, but these last summers tend to be hot hot hot and dry (not Utah-dry, but still). From time to time a spray of thermal water and my 69 year old skin is fine. And yes, love the scent of Nivea.

I've been following your channel after i've watched your vid about active ingredients. Snail mucin essence has been a trend lately, particularly that of cosrx. I hope you can someday make a video about snail mucin especially the ingredients we should not be using if we want to incorporate that in our routine. Thankyouu💖🇵🇭
Wow! You have a Fire energy with presenting all the products, but Thank you for doing that, because you are inspire me to do it too. Hair is lovely, enjoy be a Mom us you can, because time is flying.
Little nerd for life here! LOVE your products so much. Have repurchased many times. Quick question: if I apply the SK-II essence, the Cocokind serum and then your Major Fade Active Seal, would the vitamin C in the Active Seal still penetrate and benefit my skin? (This is all followed by sunscreen of course 😊). Thanks!!
Great video! Thank you so much! Saving this! I went to Utah for Xmas last year and OMG my skin was so dry!! And I just got back from Los acabos and OMG I was melting!! Wish I would’ve seen this sooner. Bit now I know 😉 thanks again 💗

Hello Shereene! First: love your videos. Second: Could you do a video eventually of at least a basic routine that is package/plastic free? I’d like to move that route but am finding it hard to give up drugstore! Also, have you heard of the brand Common Heir?
Love the hair!!
Dr. Idriss, can you make a video talking about glutathione and its effects on the skin? Thanks so much
So helpful!
Hey Dr. Shereene, loving your content and education! Wondering where we can buy your products in Australia? ☺ Would LOVE to try the moisturiser, sounds awesome.
Dry skin in the tropic here. For the day/ going out time: I use hada labo gokujyun premium with niacinamide and vitamin c and goes directly to sunscreen, i use biore uv athlizm, then straight to foundation and the rest of the makeup.
I've been doing so well with my sunscreen and hats, but I'm very fair skinned and I'm looking paler than I'd like for the summer. Could you talk about self tanners? Do they work, are they ok for the skin, and if so how can you incorporate them into a routine with other products?
Can you do a video for best skincare routine for teenagers please?
Just came back from Italy and my face was so hydrated and now back in my dry climate it’s so dry! I didn’t even know I had dry skin until I saw the difference in both climates.
Stunning, as always! Try bigger rollers on the bottom. You should only need 2 or 3
New to your channel and LOVE it!!
YOU LOOK AMAZING WITH THAT HAIRSTYLE
Thank you again for your amazing advices. I wish you have your office in Boston, so I could have an appointment with you!
Can you make an eczema toolkit? A deep dive into what we should try and when? Example if you have thick, scaly skin use x. If you have weeping skin use x . Ashy skin use x. Etc. eczema comes in many shapes and forms and unfortunately it’s difficult to decide what to use when

I bought the cocokind serum recently because of you and like it a lot. Have you tried byoma skincare?
Hello Doctor, Could you please do a skincare video for vitiligo skin condition.
Thank you so much for this, but I have a question. What did you think of the Kosas sunscreen?
I've been using Nivea Creme as my moisturizer. Mainly because they are the most affordable for me atm.
You're a champ, doc!
Rapid fire info, love it !
thank you for this great video- how does sunscreen work with all of this? I typically use EltaMD sunscreen after moisturizer before makeup, but if I were to do the mulit-layer approach you have here, not sure where to put the sunscreen layer-wise. Thank you!
LOL! I live in Utah. I actually didn't realize how dry it is until I visited Florida last April. I always thought that I had dry skin, but to be honest I am now wondering if I have some oily skin areas and I'm just dried out. I've never had a real skin care routine outside of wash and put on lotion, but I'm very much so looking to start a real catered one. Your videos have definitely been informative and I intend to reference them in the future. Of course I only just learned that I don't get "blackheads," I just have noticeable sebaceous filaments. And I guess that the bumps I get on my cheeks is likely sebaceous hyperplasia. (Maybe? Google says so, but...idk. I'll find out for sure eventually.)
Thank you so much for this 🥲🥲 especially the environmental aspect 😭
maybe i missed it but can you give us your thoughts on biossance products. I love their squalene moisturizer
Hi! My question led me to your channel, so I hope you can help. I currently use Sunday Riley's A+ serum. It is great but....I am going on vacay to sunny mexico and am wondering if I should stop using the retinol whilst I am away?? I do wear sun screen 50+ La Roche Posey Anthelios everyday. I stay away from the sun, LOL. I have beautiful skin and fear the extra exposure of the two weeks vacay might be too much with my current skincare daily routine. That was a mouthful,:) I LOVE your channel,BTW and your skin is just WOW xoxo
Thank you for another great video. 👏 You're looking beautiful. Have a wonderful day. ❤
Have been following your channel for ages and love your content! Can you please expand your shipping to Canada or Australia! Or both! I really want to try your moisturizer but live in Aus (family in Canada)
Do you have an opinion on the Jin Jung Sung essence as opposed to the SK-II?
Can you talk about scaly, dry, crustiness around the nose? Pretty new, and didn’t start anything new for a couple weeks.
I find that two good "dupes" for SK-II are Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence and Scinic First Treatment Essence. I also really like the @JordanSamuelSkin hydrate the mist when I travel to a drier climate. He sells a mini version that is great for travel.
❤❤❤ love the video!!!

My skin is dry and acne prone. Dry combination so to say I guess. And I am in central asia now so a dry environment. My skin, face and body, both seems to really like Avene trixera nutrifluid balm and Cerve moisturizing cream, and yes La roche posay cicaplast spray is great but I still need to lock it in 😂 La roche posay lipikar balm is great too, the lipikar lait seems to pill at lot sadly. Nature republic green derma mild cica cream is also great, really absorbs well like Avene trixera nutrifluid balm but has a more glowy finish. Smells powdery too nice 😊 Mustela hydra bebe body lotion is great and it smells sooo nice 🎉

I love mineral tinted sunscreen, but it could be hard to make it work with some complexions. As for make up, more choices sure ! But not the right protection for your skin. I wonder if there is a way to fix that with may be costumized ones. With a couple of light, darker, and pure pigmented ones... and ajusted it for summer and winter.
I have dry sensitive acne prone skin with eczema rosacea and another form of dermatitis and before I knew how to properly take care of my skin I took a vacation to Las Vegas and my face was peeling so bad from being so dry and my heels were so cracked within 3 days of being there that I could barely walk bc it hurt so bad, I wish there were more KZreadrs and dermatologists on social media when I was a teenager bc I did so much damage to my skin believing skin myths and just not knowing how to take care of my skin. Tysm for sharing your experience and time to help educate us! Also. How do I find a derm like you? I’ve been through four derms and I didn’t care for any of them, it seemed like they never had the answers to my questions and it felt like I knew more about some ingredients in my products or ones I was interested in than they did 😔
Thank you for the effort you put into the channel and I want you to know that I love you so much, and I wish one day you create an Arabic Channel for our Arabian ladies that need AWARNES on how they treat their Skincare ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
