Be on the lookout for products that are not water based, or even ones that have no water in the ingredient list, they are definitely less likely to burn! The textbook example of it is vaseline.
Sephora has a skin scanning device that is supposed to color match your foundation, but it also analyzes your skin and recommends skin care products. I was wondering if you guys would be willing to try this out for a video or a podcast segment, to see how accurate this device is.

There are so many invisible factors to skincare (your underlying skin sensitivity, local humidity, personal skincare habits) that a simple camera analysis just isn't going to work. That's Sephora trying to bolster your consumerism. The camera can't tell you anything your eyes already can't, so that'll be noticing issues like hyperpigmentation, scarring, pore visibility, etc. Focus on learning about skincare, and experimenting with well-evidenced ingredients and products.
Great to see you two back!!
I use the Neutrogena Hydro Boost products and I love them. Soo perfect. I have used them all year round and it just works beautifully. 😊
The VERSED Aloe and Green tea moisturizer is awesome, super lightweight, a medium thin gel and it absorbs fast so you can do sunscreen comfortably quick after. Love it.
I find these doctors very knowledgeable and easy to listen to but also highly enjoyable to watch because they are both so attractive… lol! I enjoy the eye candy while learning about how to better care for my skin.😊❤
Such a timely video. Looking forward to the Fall and Winter version of your top moisturizers 🎉
Have they made an combination skin routine video yet? I’m surprised they haven’t! We need that
My new favorite is elf skin, holy hydration! face cream with hyaluronic acid and peptides- wow it’s fantastic!
I’d love for you guys to do a deep dive into the debate on “drug store/Sephora-grade” skin care and pharmaceutical grade skin care. Is pharmaceutical really better? Is it worth the price? Are the ingredients really more superior as they say? Would love your take.
Really like this format!!!
Me too, so glad to see you both back.👍
One of my all time favorites for sensitive skin is the Aveeno Calm and Restore
My favorite right now is the honest daily calm moisturizer. It has clean ingredients and has been great for my sensitive acne prone skin.
For those who has Costco membership, the Neutrogena gel cream 2 pack is currently on sale at Costco this month!! Just started today. Love watching you both! Thanks for all the valuable information :)
Ty for this great video.I use the fragrance free jel cream every morning.I always use my vitamin c serum first then apply the jel cream over it.The two work excellent on my mature skin for all day hydration😊
The Cerave ultra-light moisturizing gel is another great one
Nice to see you both smiling and relaxed ❤ Might be because I don't think I've ever seen either of you wear anything other than scrubs 😊 I'm old school and use my Olay Beauty lotion during the summer. Great recommendations, will definitely pick up some of your suggestions ❤
I love the skin fix gel cream. Been using it for like a year. My fav!
This is excellent! Just casual conversations about skincare and putting it on! The new Vichy Mineral 89 cream fragrance free is spectacular. It is the gel cream for dry skin. My skin looks so good with the stuff. I put it on top of their prebiotic serum. I’m just waiting for them to make a fragrance free cleanser, though, all three of their cleansers are excellent, and have a lovely scent to them, regardless. I haven’t yet tried Neutrogena Hydroboost line. I’ve never been drawn to it. But Vichy Fragrance free Aqualia cream is excellent too and a little lighter than the Mineral 89 cream.
My favourite summer cream is Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide cream. It's light enough and feels amazing on the skin ❤
Im an old fashion like my mom & Grandma was and Olay & cuple Lancome products it's my skin ! I don't feel like I need more , there are hundreds of new products that works for the same purpose, just learn to use the basics as a routine and stop eating sugar,It definitely improves the skin on your face and you will have a healthy glow.
Thanks for including our Minéral 89 72H Moisture Boosting Fragrance-Free Cream in your list of best summer moisturizers!

Thank you for the great advice!🥰
I've just recently tried Olay Regenerist Hyaluronic Acid and Peptide 24, it's very nice and light as well.
❤❤ I love u guys.. thank you so much for your advice that you give when it comes to skincare.
I love Versed's Dew Point moisturizer for spring and summer
If you haven’t yet, PLEASE try Torriden’s Dive In Soothing Cream. My oily but dehydrated face LOVES it.
Great information as always ❤️🌻
I absolutely love Neutrogena Hydro Boost!! It’s been my daily moisturizer for over a year now. The water gel is lovely in warmer months, while I prefer the gel cream during dryer colder months. I can’t stand the greasiness and heaviness of regular lotions, but the Hydro Boost has a lovely lightweight + smooth feel that hydrates without any of the ick. Can’t recommend it enough!
Just a heads up, they have recently changed the formulation of the neutrogena hydroboost gel cream and because of it, it now has a completely different feel on the skin, it feels like it leaves a film on and that it hydrates less.

A few years ago my dermatologist recommended Neutrogena hydroboost gel and it had good results on my skin. Until months ago I developed allergies. My eyes would get puffy and my neck would get very itchy. I was miserable, and I didn't have the same results. My skin looks and feels different. I stopped using it, thank goodness I was able to return the opened bottle of hydroboost gel.

@Pete292323 yeah I noticed the change in formula as well, it started to leave a white cast on my face and it didn’t hydrate anymore so I switched to the hydro boost water gel formula and omg I am loving it. It’s my go to till this day.

😂😂😂 are they pregnant?
Loved the video!!! Would you ever review Youth To The People products? They are my favorite, very effective, and I don't think they get enough love on the internet.
Do you have any thoughts on self tanners? Good/Bad for the skin? Which do you prefer?
I’m really surprised you like the reformulation of the Biossance product, considering the overwhelming response from long time users absolutely not impressed about it. I was excited to try it myself when it was more of a gel consistency but now it looks exactly like the Omega repair cream (which I loooove) and I wanted something much lighter for summer. I wish they would have made two separate products, old formula and new one
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Cream and also their HB Water Gel BOTH burn/sting my face. I now use Jin Jung Sung Hybrid Face & Eye Moisturizer now. I get an extra ounce of moisturizer plus an easier to use flip open top AND a WAY more comprehensive list of ingredients for LESS money.
I love Skinfix!!
thx for making a condensed version from your podcast. my adhd brain doesn't accept podcasts very well
vichy makes a great product
Fantastic! 😁
Skinfix has nice stuff. For mature skin we like it , Biosence looks nice yet they don't have it yet. I use there vit C rose oil with squalene .
Also, nice they have a discount for random people who want to try to help their skin 😊
What do y’all think of ‘pore clogging ingredients’ ? Is it accurate ? & how is it measured ?
Topic idea, how to treat discoloration/ melasma And treat prevent wrinkles simultaneously? I'm 47 and use a cream from a Derm to treat melasma with hydroquinone, tretinoin, kojic acid & niacinamide. Directions are to use on dark spots only. What can I use on other areas of my face for anti-aging/ wrinkles?

It would be great if you make a video reviewing Biotherm products
I have shamefully expensive taste, but I got the Byoma Moisturizing Gel Cream and let me tell you: it’s the shit, especially in the heat. I think it’s my favorite ever?
I've been using Sulwhasoo for the past few months and I'm absolutely blown away by it. Im very curious why you don't ever speak about this brand ?
My favorite summer mositurizer right now is the Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream. I have combination/acne-prone skin that definitely leans more dry, and this has been perfect for me to get hydration that lasts all day without shining bright like a diamond by the end of the day :) It makes my skin feel so soft and healthy!
Plz make a vedio on double cleansing.
What do you guys think about the newish elf Holy Hydration skin care line? Is it effective for someone whose concerns are anti-aging, dry skin, and protection? Is it a great choice for someone looking for a lower price point? Thanks! Love learning from your videos!
great video
What is your opinion on Biotherm products?
Can you do a video on how to deal with areas (like the crotch) where the skin may get too much moisture?
Hey. Does anyone know of a uk based channel like this? I love the science content these guys do but a lot of the products are not available where I live, especially the drugstore recommendations.
hey guys what do you guys think about the water-gel version?
Hi There! In the past, I had acne on my face in multiple areas. I visited the dermatologist and it worked out pretty good. However, every once in a while I get 1 or 2 zits on my face. The incidents and routine that were suggested to me were 2.5% Benzol Peroxide and Adapalene for the night 2 % Salicylic acid and 5% Niacinamide for the morning. Can I use these for 1 or 2 spots I get every once in a while?
Can you guys do a video on Deodorant? Like..What are your thoughts on the Carpe Deodorant?
Want you two together !!!
What's your take on Eminence Organics skin care products? I use their products as my skin care routine but I recently watched your videos about retinols and not needing to use several products, which l'm using about 5 different things for my routine from that brand and none contain retinol. Just wanted to see your thoughts on their skin care products 😊
What about the Skinfix refills vs the full package?
My fav is biossance gel 🤍
Hi Doctors can you make one video about winter cream for dry skin, thanks
You Doctorly are Awesome People.Watching your videos from SriLanka.Back in LA pretty soon. Please let me know your clinic location.Blessed day.💐
Just wondering why you chose the Neutrogena gel cream over the water gel? I haven’t tried the gel cream but I absolutely love the water gel. I live in a very tropical climate and have oily but am 40 so wanting to do my best to keep my skin hydrated.
What do you think of Estée Lauder moisturizers?
Can you talk about cupping? (Against wrinkels)
Love both of you. How about recommending some moisturizers not in jar
This is not a moisturizer question but a balm cleaner one. Dr. Mayfield, you said that a favorite balm cleanser of yours is made by Farmacy. Which one? There’s several. You said you like the fragrance.
Does our skin develop tolerance/resistance? Lets say i have this skin care routine and i've been using the same products for so long, will it ever lose it's effect? Or can i be consistent and use the same product forever (lol) and still get the same result? Is there a need for me to change the products in order to prevent tolerance?
Vichy favorite🎉🎉 best
Hy docs ! We literally need a live session with you guys ... We have so many skincare question to ask 🥲

What about Kiehl’s gel moisturizer?
Dr Maxfields skin shows moderate sun damage 😮
Plz make detail video on glutathione pills for skin lightening
Is carnivore diet (when I only eat meat products) for a week make my skin look better and would it be good for my skin?
what about L'Oreal Hydro Genius? It's amazing for summer, or really any other time. Considering that the summer lasts about 9 months here in the south, it's a marvelous gift. ETA: I do love Neutrogena Hydroboost line, but L'Oreal is way cheaper.
Doctorly Skincare Range 😉
How about K or J beauty moisturizers?? There are many great products at such a better price! Please do a video on K(orean) & J(apanese) skincare.
Two hot doctors. ❤️
Moisturizers in summer? Oh my, I'm having so much trouble with sunscreen that I cannot even think about using a moisturiser first in the morning. I even have to pass on the vitamin C serum most of the time. At night, I do use a light moisturiser with my tretinoin, but summer humidity and heat - true hell.
Hey @Doctorly, what are your views on ulthera?
I would like to hear your thoughts about snail mucin 🐌
Hi there, i wanted to ask what can you recommend for people who lives in middle east which is mostly have a humid and hot weather . They said use gel type and not creamy ones type of skin care 😢. Thank you .
What are your thoughts on QWO for cellulite?
I’m 6 weeks into accutaine, the biggest problem seem to be post acne. Can I just use moisturiser for the rest 5 months and clean my skin of dark spots? I mean, will time help? Other stuff is dangerous now cuz the skin is so sensitive
Have you reviewed Obagi?
Please give me the other side of the negative views of Retinol.
