Now I’m using HLG3 on my a7iii and I’ve had pro colorist praise the flexibility in post. It’s my go to for professional work and Cione 4 with everything else.

Just focus on getting your ISO, aperture, and shutter speed at the best possible settings. The most important thing is getting your picture looking as good as possible in camera before hitting record. PIcture profiles just give you more flexibility when editing but if you get the picture looking awesome in camera than that makes your life way easier and negates any need for additional flexibility in post.
