Speaking to my 87 year old mum last week she said she saw Ray Charles at the Lewisham Odeon (I think) probably early 1960's

I have an OG Rumours and the 2008 remaster. The OG is the OG and the copy to have. But a remaster instead of nothing. Yes please. It's the music and how it makes you feel.

What do you mean by OG Rumours? Is that the original release from the 70's?

Nice review, however I am disappointed that I have subscribe to your Patreon channel to hear "what you really think" of the Fleetwood Mac release. Ok, I guess I can understand limiting file download to Patreons, but just to hear your opinion? A bridge too far for me.

I think you’ve misunderstood. It’s really not just about “my opinion”. I can’t play the clips on KZread. There are sound samples available on the Patreon available for those who are interested in how the two copies sound. If I were to do that on KZread, it would be taken down immediately. I honestly just thought it might be something interesting to hear as part of a broader part of what I do for those who are willing to support beyond the many hours I spend putting content up on KZread that is free for you to consume. There is no shame in being paid for what I do, and believe me, I’m hardly getting rich off of this. Perhaps you’d prefer I just stopped producing content all together and got a job stacking shelves?

Yes. But that is not the entire reason for the Patreon. In your words “Limiting file downloads to Patreon just to hear your opinion”. If you don’t want to be a Patreon Mark, that’s fine - I’m not forcing you 😂. Honestly though, my head is not big enough to seriously think I could charge for my opinion alone!? Honestly I’m just surprised anyone would take it that way!

@@soundmatters What they mean is that your opinon should be in the normal video, and that in their experience they need to subscribe "just" to know what the point of the video was to start. I agree with them.

It’s there if you want to hear the difference between the two versions. I can’t share it on KZread. If you want to hear it, great. It’s one piece of content as part of a rolling subscription that includes exclusive content every month, something many other creators on KZread do. There’s plenty of free content on the KZread side that I will continue to provide.

Yeah get the Black Sabbath Paranoid I've got the original probably the best album they made, it's got good atmosphere to it and if you like grunge plenty of that. Some great bass lines as well

I love Nina Simone and Ray Charles. Both are timeless artists!
