What would be really interesting, the Astros lose their tv deal for televised games. In turn, this makes the fans mad. The front office loses money and can't pay their cheaters. Two three years down the road, the whole roster has flipped into something that resembles the Marlin's. Former players are essentially boycotted from the game and forced to play overseas. But it won't ever happen, because tv wants their money more than doing the right thing.

TheDCGuitar13 They we’re cheating in the postseason because only the MLB was allowed in the replay room in the postseason so they didn’t know what was coming in any of the seasons. The Yankees and Dodgers both blew leads because they can’t pitch, the Astros pitching rotation and staff were so far superior to the Yankees and Dodgers they blew their leads. However, the Nationals has a good pitching staff and rotation and good batting lineup and look they won in a game 7 contest for the ages

While Scherzer and Strasburg are incredible pitchers, the Nats also went into the World Series knowing that the Astros were cheaters. They prepared multiple sets of signs in order to prevent sign stealing.

SN Drag Race Completely agree the top 2 staffs in the league were so clearly the Nationals and Astros its not even funny and voila they played in the chip and no one cheated that year. The Astros probably wins by a hair because Gerrit Cole and Max Scherzer is push, Justin Verlander and Starsburg is insanely close but I got Berlander by a hair, and the real reason the Astros pitching staff was a little bit better is Zack Greinke is quite a bit better than Corbin Martin who is good as well but not the Ace Zach is.

I thought their roster was better than the Nationals overall... I'm a huge Capitals fan in hockey, so I gotta cheer for Washington teams (Nats included) I'm just happy they got it done, but it seemed like they were the underdogs. Either or, I agree with your stance; the fact there were signs and all and they still couldn't get the best of Scherzer (and Strasburg/Corbin) shows how good of pitchers they are and how prepared Washington was.

What really makes me mad is how they legit believe that they earned that World Series Championship. Even after they admitted to cheating!!! You can't get anymore pathetic than that.

I don’t know if altuve was cheating, in my unbiased opinion there’s really no way to tell. My biggest annoyance with this whole scandal was the lack of punishment and the lack of accountability. The astros acted like they weren’t cheating and that really pissed off a lot of people. Is it ok to be a fan of the astros? Yes. But you kinda have to admit that they did something wrong.

Nolan Kayton - Hitting or pitching, you’re still part of a team that’s cheating and it’s still surprising he didn’t have a more polarizing reaction. After his team lost the World Series, I think his press conference was subtle but more telling of his feelings towards the organization. I can’t recall a time where a player washed his hands so quickly with being part of a team. He change out of his uniform quick. It looked like passive aggression at its finest.

As a Dodger fan my apologies to Darvish. A lot of Dodger fans thought the worst in him. If I find a Darvish Dodger shirt....I am buying it. Kershaw trying to keep it cool.....he does have kids and as usual...he is a role model. Astros will finish last this year. EVERY TEAM they face this year will be playing them with a microscope. In that year he was trying to come back and making strides in his delivery. He went to the Cubs my feeling is to start fresh. Imagine if Dodgers had won in 2017. Trades, contracts, etc all changes. The Astros did not just cheat against the Dodgers. They cheated against the Cubs, Yankees..all major league teams. Trophy needs to be nullified. No winner for 2017. Yeah..calling the trophy a piece of metal is just weird. I work with a Cubs fan at work ...and we both talk a lot about baseball and are in disbelief. He's from SoCal and rather than play for the Angels who offered him a chance to join he chose the Yankees instead. I wouldn't do that if I were a player who's also from Socal. Bellinger was right! Judge most definitely would have had the MVP. If Altuve didn’t cheat, then he wouldn’t have batted 346.

As a Yankees fan I was like damn these guys can hit especially Altuve and then to find out they were cheating just makes me sick. I'm so happy the rest of the league is speaking out against the Astros and are just as pissed off as the team's that got really screwed. Clevenger, Bryant and Trout especially. These guys are always respectful and professional so when they're saying what they're saying it means alot about the gravity of what the Astros did. Just think about a kid getting his first appearance or first start and gets shelled and knocked out of the game in the 2nd inning after giving up 5 or 6 runs. That could kill someone's confidence as a pitcher or get him sent back down and career ruined. Thinking that he's just not good all the while a bunch of all stars knew what you were about to throw You got ripped all over the field.

@Greatness Is earned No doubt. They are very good. They didn't need to cheat to be good either. But they did!! I'm not saying that knowing the pitches turned them from bad to good but it definitely helped and because of it they're careers are tainted. They should not have even made the world series in 2017 but cheating got them there.

Every team cheats but as if yesterday we had win 20. May everyone keep hating us we make a good villain.

The entire team had to know what was going on. It is strange that someone did not step up and say, "Hey we are not going to get away with that." It will die down eventually, but this season is not going to be pleasant for the Astros. The media has beat the drum (garbage can) enough, time to move on and PLAY BALL!

Astros and Redsox: yes, we cheated but we are champions so you’ve got to cheat if you want a better chance at winning. MLB RIP!!!

Having a man on 2nd relaying signs or having a base coach see the catchers signs is one thing. The Astros had a camera set up feeding the footage back to a monitor in their dugout. This is beyond unfair, because the other team is unaware and can’t protect themselves from it unless they are aware of a spy camera. Stop tryna defend these cheaters you delusional Asterisks fan.

If you look at the stats even without knowing that he cheated we all knew judge should have won the MVP but didn’t. That’s the messed up part. What’s even worse now is that he can’t seem to stay healthy.
