The program works well. From May until September, I put Humicahr and chicken feed out once a month and spayed it with SuperJuice with the microbes. By the end of the summer, the Bermuda grass had filled in where I killed off major sections of weeds in my back and side yard. My front yard has a large Live Oak, and St. Augustine began filling in under a large live oak.

Great advice! Soybean meal or Alfalfa meal (not pellets) are great (little tip: dividing the percentage protein by 4 gives you the percentage Nitrogen). In many parts of the US, chicken manure is a better value and it works great. Bagged chicken manure products are all composted, although they're not totally "clean" (and they do smell). But they provide carbon and a good balance of fast/medium/slow-acting nutrients. A good chicken manure product (I like Kreher's) is basically high-test compost. It's good for soil biology, although I just use it as my NPK source... you'll still get lots of value from including biochar, inoculants, etc.

Doc, I’m in! Just south of you in Smyrna and I’m going with your plan 100% this year. Tried LCN last year, and it did really great... but I’m looking to get that “Doc Lawn” this year. Ordered my Super Juice, Duocide, 10-10-10, Complete, Diothiopyr, Baricade, and Humichar earlier this week. Let’s go!

Your knowledge and willingness to continually research and test is making a significant contribution to safer organic farming. In your link below on this video, you pointed out some of the key differences between aerobic and anaerobic decomposition. In aerobic decomposition, “...The heat produced in aerobic composting is sufficient to kill harmful bacteria and pathogens as these organisms are not adapted to these environmental conditions.” In anaerobic decomposition, “...produces little heat. This lack of heat often results in the survival of many pathogens, weeds, and seeds, and causes a significant amount of methane to be released into the atmosphere.” This is really helpful to me. Just these two key differences rule out so called “bokashi” methods of composting for me. Bokashi is really popular among the permaculture folks, but the safety and the likely survival of both pathogens, seeds, and weeds is not discussed so clearly. By following your super composting methods for my garden during the last summer, I grew way more food than I have ever gotten from my garden. Following your lawn “gardening” methods last summer, gave me the most beautiful deep blue green lawn I have ever grown. Thank you so much.
