16:20 feel like the worst thing you can do in that situation is tell these animals you have a dash cam, let them call the police and then reveal it when they are cornered.

And the rear ending on the motorway. He was such a prick i thought he was going to take the camera when she said she had one. Imagine shouting at someone when the passenger was bleeding. Scum.
slow down everyone; don't sit near big trucks, keep an eye on those mirrors and be prepared to yield to others whether you're in the right or wrong. It's not much use being in the right if you're sitting next to a totalled vehicle, covered in blood and snot waiting for the ambulance and facing three months of reconstructive surgery. "My legs are gone but at least I've got footage proving I had right of way over that lorry."

I've been driving for over 30 years and I have to say the standard of driving has plummited drastically over the past 5 to 10 years. Even driving instructors have gotten worse. My daughter was spun by a wagon that had to have seen her as he was behind her and pulled across her with the grand kids in her car. She ended up with a 25k payout.
Young children are the best escape artists I know.

Well, you don't know one way or the other if that's what happened unless you were either there, or were one of the parties involved! They've got their own ways of living, as you have yours. And do so for reasons that are only known to them. Not you (I presume), not me, not the person who brought the toddler back to them (again - presumably), not a single soul ANYWHERE in this world (all presumably). I probably wouldn't say "thank you" either...it doesn't imply rudeness or inconsideration. Maybe they've thought things through more carefully than you might have anticipated, and perhaps feel an *inconvenience,* at having brought the toddler back to them under a conditioned pretext (i.e. "oh no - there's an infant of a particular (assumed) stage of awareness and development, I'd better do what I've been led to believe is the right thing to do [by mainstream convention].") An expectation of "thanks" is also a potential indicator of a toxic disposition, so I'd be more careful still. In fact, the provocation in raising of the discussion of the matter in the first place, should suggest that there's an element of unwelcome interference by the philosophy of the uploader. Now time for you to abuse me with vile, spitting anger to "get your point across" (if you feel so inclined).

And please don't be silly with this whole DESIGNATED thing. The road is also a DESIGNATED place for cyclists to ride. You have no idea idea where the cyclist is going. You have no idea how of the cyclist's familiarity with the area. So you have no idea whether they should be on the bike path or not.

#18 Motorways, many users seem to assume once you've entered a motorway you can just cruise and mentally switch off which generally at night-time you can do that, but not when there's traffic because you've still got potential dangers occasionally occurring at exit and entrance slip roads or where motorways merge or separate, keeping the same lane or the same speed at these could put you in danger.
#37 Know that junction well. I work on Station Approach (the road to the right). Victoria Road (the one the cammer is on) regularly backs up because there are traffic lights at the bottom of the hill. Just some simple observation by the 1 series would've resulted in no accident.

#30 Brilliant, straight to the point
40:41 if you look closely, there is a car going slowly in front of the van, which caused him to swerve out in front of cammer car.having said that, the van driver should have been more observant and slowed down to avoid the accident.!!
#11 Dreadful driving by the HGV and on a wet road! #91 Unusual to see such careless driving from a Norbert Dentressangleprofessional, they’re the French equivalent of Stobart. But never sit inside an artic on the entry to corners or roundabouts.
Yes thought so seen all these clips months ago
#56 HGV driver of the year
5:47 _"But that was a pure brake check, right?"_ Irrelevant. The truck driver had committed several "offences" leading up to the collision, and he should never have been following the car so closely, especially in the wet.
It always amazes me how some people think that a couple of seconds of their time is more important than people's lives. I understand that mistakes can be made but cutting lanes on roundabouts and cutting people off is inexcusable. If you can't drive a 4 ton death machine properly, you shouldn't be behind the wheel.
1:26 mate thank god you drive safely and caught that kid My eyesight I thought he was a duck but yea good catch 👏 👏 👏 ❤❤❤❤
A nice selection.
Glad #51 situation was a good ending! Just had to throw in the model of the car 🙄😆😂
#14 Merlin Road roundabout at Cribbs... those lane markings only indicate the appropriate lane to take, not the required lane. It's not ideal, but the driver can turn right. The turning driver should have been indicating and looking, but imo, the cammer was going too fast to be easily seen. Personally, trying to overtake on a roundabout is stupid.
#15 - have you got an invisible car?!?! 😅
0:42 was driving with no mot as well
1620 the music was perfect (tell me lies tell me sweet little lies ) 🤣🤣🤣🤣
#18 Good God there even seems to be more fresh skid marks just after the location of that accident too ! 😒
Doesn’t matter how many times you say to check your blind spots, people won’t listen. I’m fed up telling people to use their mirrors, I find that doesn’t help either but genuinely think there should be a government campaign to get people to use mirrors and indicators as it seems many people can’t use either.
@jessebella9322
Жыл бұрын
But you have already said that no matter how many times we tell people, they will not listen... So what good is a government campaign? It will do nothing and people will not listen. They have already had similar campaigns such as check for biker, look look and then look again and all of that bollox. At the end of the day, people are prats and a campaign change nothing
Too many drivers seem perfectly happy to dawdle around in an HGV's blind spot, and not understand the danger they are in. You're driving a smaller much more nimble car, two seconds of acceleration will remove the potential danger for both vehicles. Use your frickin' brains.
You have to assume people may cut you off at roundabouts etc despite the markings. You have to be constantly aware that with 37 million cars on the roads its less pleasure and more about a to b safely. Some passive and defensive driving will save a lot of trouble. Brake checkers should face a driving ban a heavy fine or yes even prison. Fit a dash cam and its time the police starting doing a proper job of acting on the recorded evidence
#64 Yeah she got hit in the back but changed lanes without warning, probably on petrol station cameras as well.
15:44 perfect music 😂
5:44 Brake check or not, Truck was too close. 2 sec. gap for cars, double for wet road, double at least for trucks
The lack of observation, lane discipline, anticipation, commonsense is frightening. Also many with a 'got to be infront' mentality, selfish attitude and excessive speed.
I was nearly killed by an idiot driver who accelerated through a zebra crossing on Camden High Street. If he'd stuck to the limit I'd've had time to get across with room to spare. As it was he missed my bike by half an inch, doing at least 50.
Clip #13.. That guy in the road had more than faith.. Any work undertaken on a live road should have barriers at least a metre around the work area.. Basically he was breaking health and safety laws.. And risking his life doing so...
Irony: being wiped out by a van as the road to hell plays on the radio.
#44 Then you wonder where he got the big dent in the back bumper from 😅🤸😅🤸😅😄😄
Honest to god it beggars belief the stupidity and the mentality of some drivers . I’m a lorry driver have been for 25 years, and the tricks you see on a daily basis up and down the country, you could write a book on it . Never understood why car drivers sit down the blind side of a truck, knowing full well the driver can’t see them , and being in a car they are perfectly capable of accelerating away . The mind boggles …………
" is that him" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Most new cars have cameras. Why don't trucks have blind spot cameras? Trivial cost compared to the cost of the truck, probably good for an insurance deduction and that's without having an avoidable accident at fault.
19:40, there's clearly a cycle lane which the cyclist isn't in, and the cyclist clearly just swerved out of it and into that car without looking. Totally at fault.
It's legal for bikes to interlane, but if they do they need to get 100% of the blame for any resulting accidents. Make it illegal, and enforce signalling.
Car drivers need to read the signs when they are around HGV's, some of the signs are if there is foreign plates on the truck or a foreign name on the trailer there is a good chance its left hand drive, therefore there will be a blind spot at the front right hand side of the cab, also if there are UK plates or UK type name on the trailer there will be a good chance its right hand drive so it will have a blind spot on its front left hand side of the cab, do not hang about in either of these two spots on a HGV.
26:10 the outcome might have been OK, but it would be better if people paid attention and didn't realise at the last second they're on a sliproad
I think anyone who stops in a live lane and gets out to confront another driver should be banned from driving

#36: I've been rear ended on my bicycle lit up with a laser rear light backed up by two rear red cheap battery ones then two flashing front 200 lumen lights on the front and this Ford Transit speeding down this 60mph UK road and there was no where for me to go as I was pushed next to the lefta s far as I could go but the Transit just hit me off my bike, sweevered and left me with nearly a broken arm and back. I was alright in the end after I was taken into hospital. by a Police Van as the ambulance was ridiculously slow (5 hours the operator quoted me hardly able to move lying in the road). My confidnce was knocked for a bit but was even triple checking zebra crossings in the first week of recovery and walking next to a road on the pavement with speed limits of more than 30mph freaked me out. Mum saw this and helped me regain my self confidence by talking to me about what scared me so much and life's traumatic events can shape ourselves to better actions next time. Slowly over the coming weeks we went dog walking together in the morning while I was off work. I'm Back on the bike now and safely cycling again. This driver ruined my life and due to insufficient dash cam footage the driver was never caught but I hope he gets inconvenienced one day for revenge.
Many people use drugs and no longer know what they are doing in traffic 😔
All this video proves that there are so many people on our roads who a need to go back to school or b not be driving at all . I've been driving over 35 years and in a professional capacity 30 years as an hgv driver and seen the quality of driving go down hill dramatically. Really needs addressing by the powers that be.
Something is very wrong with British driving instruction and/or examining. It used to be that at the end of your test the examiner would ask random questions about *anything* in the Highway Code, so you had to know the whole booklet off by heart. Now I see a lot of people driving like they've never even heard of it !
Ref comment around 07.00 ....'must' might be indicated by a solid line...broken lines can always be crossed where appropriate
#89 at 46:43 the reverse lights on the BMW are on. I would've stopped there and given the Polo room.
1.41. Truck drivers fault. Sitting at the side of the cab or just behind it is best to avoid though. Especially a left hand drive one. They can see hardly anything there so have some empathy for the driver and not designers. Many accidents like this happen. Best to hold back so you're in their mirrors till you can clear the side of the cab and get a good car lengths clear of the front. Just a little knowledge.
#39 and #40: while it is commonly done, riding a bike between lines of stationary or near-stationary traffic is both dangerous and illegal - if you have a collision it is likely that it will be deemed 50:50 at best, the bikers fault at worse. Also, please remember that bikers have no protection from impact, so they should be extra cautious at all times.
