It's hard to imagine one of those actors got a part in Coro Street, even if he did well, or did better in doing so LOL. I love the episode NODNOL, brilliant.

It's strange. I can still see a faint glimmer of the Red Dwarf I've known for years, but it all feels so out of place in 2024.

@@2Scribble Yeah, I know - Star Wars sucks. It's like if in 1971 I was watching Metropolis part VI. These franchises were fun, but I was a little kid when Star Wars came out. Give this new generation of children a new thing. Kids shouldn't be watching a franchise that I saw in 1977. Give them something new, don't just keep recycling the same thing. Franchises always get worse until they become AWFUL. Who wants to see another Indiana Jones movie? Ghost Busters? Blade Runner? Star Trek? Imagine if we were seeing Forbidden Planet part 5 in 1985?

I think it's not the writing that's the problem, it's the fact that the writing we know and love was ahead of its time back in the day, but dated now. It went from amazing, out of the box, sci-fi comedy, to a sad stage show with the same actors still trying to relive former glories. The Feel of the show itself is a Hasbeen and the shows whole crew is the life support. It would be better to just let it go.

Ice cream melts under studio lights so you can't use it except for very short scenes if its being consumed FAST and you have freezers availible on site.

​@@itsirrelephantman so in other words fat, he can't be skinny but round at the same time either he has weight or he doesn't and Robert has most definitely gained weight as has Craig Charles. I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice how much kryten's stomach is bulging now. These guys really need to get in the gym if they're going to continue doing this show, it's not a good look. I think they should stop personally but they need to make an effort and get in shape for the show if they want to continue, this stuff is permanent it's about having some dignity.

@@jediknight1294 True, I guess it does but the leather never looked right on Craig, that was just the costume designer Howard Burden's private fetish they should've stuck with the slobbish attire, especially now he really is fat. And by suit I presume you mean Kryten and no it used to fit him just fine but Rob has seesawed in weight over the years making Kryten thinner and bulkier depending on the series, he explained in the commentary he gave up smoking during the whole saga so he gained weight after he stopped cos like many smokers he replaced smoke with food when he gave it up, but at this age now it's just old age fat, regardless they don't look good, it's starting to look like that series 6 finale episode where they're all fat in the future (well not Craig he was just a brain but you get the idea)
