And they make really good comments on how Vought just doesn't care about actual discrimination, they just want money. Idk the TV show is such an upgrade compared to the comics

That scene made me feel things!

I love how all the actors in the 7 are able to switch between the cheesy Hollywood bullshit acting whenever they're in a movie or a commercial, but then be actual characters with depth when the real story unfolds. The casting for this show across the board is simply fantastic, as is the writing.

Man I just love how she’s the one started the whole show, and that slow-mo shot of her in the truck with her. So good. I think that was the shot that showed me this was gonna be a very very high quality series.

That truck scene is for me the coolest bit of cinematography I have ever seen. The power, sacrificial nature and slight aloofness of Maeve, the timing, effects and especially the use of wind from the Amazon staff. The way she flew down and braced herself without a thought remains the coolest and most 'human' I have seen a superhero be. Human in the sense that any mother would give their life for their child, and also that women are powerful. I can't put into words why this makes me feel the way it does, but it does! Queen Maeve, your cool as hell!

That intro shot of her is literally one of the hardest scenes in television. So well done

Would love to see a prequel of all The Seven learning there powers and joining The Seven

More lightlamper story and previous Seven. Like guy pre Atrain or Liberty when she was Liberty, maybe Deep old costume was like in the comic. How all become what they are... I wanna see times Homelander face cruelty of world... fake and worst people

Maeve is such an interesting character im excited to see more of her in so. Also the music in the background is super loud.

I really wish we had more examples of "feats of strength" from Homelander and Maeve. In my understanding the assumption is that she's the second most powerful of the Seven, while Homelander is just gawd. But all we ever see is his heat vision, and the most we get from Maeve is shredding the bank car.

The TV differs from the comics a bit where Maeve has formal training. In the comics Homelander takes out Maeve easily, but it would be interesting to see what they can do with Maeve being the third strongest in the Seven and possibly in the show.

idk, A-Train seems much stronger than any of the 7 except Homelander tbh (assuming he didn't have the heart condition). Maybe that's me exxagerating because of how speedsters never get the proper credit though.

There's literally no way anyone can hit him unless he lets them imo, though tbh it seems like he doesn't really have access to minite to minute super speed, and it's more like he has to run to activate it. @@omar619kamis idk prolly because more episodes is too much? It’s hard to make more episodes, heck even one extra episode is hard. Every episode is like an hour long, and the quality of this show is amazing for a TV series. So 1 more hour would not only take much longer, be much harder and be much more expensive, it could also lead to the whole series having a quality decrease because they need to film 1 more hour of the show.

My favourite character, weirdly enough she's actually got better morals than the actual wonder woman. If homelander didn't exist she'd never have done that bad stuff

Same! She really was a queen and a character just as naive as Starlight at the beginning of the show, but she got corrupted by the corporation and started losing hope on becoming a true hero after watching all the stuff Homelander did. She definitely deserved her happy ending, even if it was at the cost of an eye 😉

Those are just two examples she's done plenty of things like after a bad relationship she tried to rid the world of men with her army and she doesn't have the same rule as superman or batman if you start a fight with wonder woman you likely won't leave it alive

@@mattholt2451 I’m not sure, honestly all of their character arcs are pretty great. But if I had to say, MM has the littlest character arc IMO. Doesn’t make him the worse written character, it’s just his whole thing is “I have a family and I want to return to them” and that’s it for him. I’m not saying he’s a bad written character, I’m just saying out of all the amazingly written characters he’s the least interesting main character, obviously there other uninteresting characters but those characters aren’t really main characters. (I don’t hate MM, he’s a nice dude and helps out Hughie and Butcher a ton, very loyal and very caring, I’m just sayin my opinion)

If you think about it, this was the best possible ending for her (aside from the eye, of course 😅) She was able to get back with the person she loved, while finally leaving behind all the things that tormented her. In my opinion, I couldn't be happier about it, and there goes my favorite character from the show. I'll still watch season 4, tho

She was able to hurt him, so she probably believes the boys will be able to beat him sooner or later. Also, they mentioned that compound V on adults is likely to kill them, so it's better to not risk it
