"I'd love to play with Galis in the same team", said the legendary Drazen Petrovic before his death in 1993. "I would assist him the ball and he would put it in the basket."

@mpleportals Oscar, Dalipagic and Gallis were the gun machines in Europe during the 80's, but this video shows the real trademark of Gallis. Oscar and Dalipagic were more long distance shooters, he was a master in one on one. Sensational player.

dude..excellent question..i have seen percent of his games and ican tell you that never ever I remember anyone blocking him..there is an incident that vrankovic the fiercer blocker ois time at 7.3 was chasing him just to stop him once and after many floaters he kicked the ball at the roof of the stadium and got ejected..that thing that he had pulled of these floaters literally thousands of times from the center or the wings of the paint..

@@andreaspapadakis2602 Yes, he's been blocked. I don't remember by whom. It happened 3 or 4 times in his entire career I think, but I could be wrong.

@@badseednut 4 blocks for someone constantly attacking the rim at 6 foot high is almost impossible..Mj had 4 in one game from Reggie Lewis against the Celtics.. here someone is blocking Galis from behind unexpected..look what happens next! kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGV629yoXZvfg7Q.html

@@andreaspapadakis2602 Oh yes I know the video. I also agree with that you. 6ft, constantly attacking and almost always being guarded by 2-4 players. He was indeed unbelievable. I consider him the best in the world. Let's not forget that his career stats was around 60% and mighty MJ's around 40%. If that's not impossible, when you have an entire team's defense being arranged on how to stop him, and not only he was the highest scorer but had insane stats, that's achieving the impossible. And he did a lot more than that.

I watched nearly all of his games in the Greek league and international. I grew up with Aris!! Yes he got blocked…but very RARELY. It is so little that does not even register. You can see that in his stats. His FG% is ridiculous. Particularly for a 6ft guard that constantly attacks the paint …in an era that the paint was packed and full of seven footers.
