Wow!! hahaha all through this video I was thinking of how you cracked my Seagull with this same trick more than 20 years ago. It was painful but you responded like a gentleman with the fix and apart from the scare nothing too bad came about. Anyway I'm glad that you make the recommendation at the end of the vid for those who want to try this idea. As a disclaimer I must say for anyone visiting this channel that Francisco (Doctor 7) is not only the most talented guitar player I've met, but also a very thorough and careful guitar tech. This idea should work, just don't try it on your Seagull. Pancho, I love you man, my guitar forgave you anyway.

this is really the best system you can use for your classical guitar: non-invasive, looking good, very efficient, cheap, fast and easy to build, and it works perfectly. I have made it for myself and finally I got ridden of back pain problems while sitting with the guitar, I have no fear the instrument falls or move, and the playability is superb. This guy deserve more and more visualizations! this is really THE solution for classical guitar players! I will never stop saying thanks to him for this idea. Thank you sir from NE Italy

We are making guitar supports - the HBLight and HBBasic support - it works with clamps. But we were trying to find solution which will give such position, which You got. Looks very comfortable. 👍👍👍

I devised a strap system that uses two guitar straps. One goes completly around the perimiter of the body joined together near the neck with a strap button located where the ends meet. Another strap button is located at the bottom of the guitar on the same strap so no drilling, screwing, gluing, magnets, suction cups or anything will affect your expensive concert guitars. Then a second strap is used just like on a guitar with strap buttons installed with drilling and screwing up your beautiful expensive guitar. It works great and I love standing up while playing. This relieves me from all the carpel tunnel, sciatica, leg tingling asleep cramps upper body contortions. Every thing I was taught about classical guitar technique, holding the guitar that way is pure bullshit. Classical guitar sucks because pompous self absorbed teachers and performers peddle notions that are false and dangerous.

Do you have pictures showing how you do it or use it? It would be cool to see, and yes, classical guitar posture has been a problem for quite some time!

But this way you propose, the left hand keeps too high and away. Maybe, you can try a cushion on the chair, putting on the back side and you sit in there, this way the guitar stand a little lower, your left arm will be more confortable and you embrace the guitar, saludos!

I know most people won’t do it, but I honestly don’t look back. The few times I used the footstool or the dynarette, I couldn’t wait to grab this strap because it is so much more comfortable!
