Best Fast Chicken Alfredo
Recipe:
1 lb dried fettuccine
1 stick of butter
3 cloves garlic (minced)
1 lb chicken (sliced)
1 oz ap flour (or 1/4 cup)
1 quart heavy cream
2 cups Parmesan (grated)
Salt and pepper to taste
Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a boil and cook pasta to al dente. While water is coming to boil and pasta is cooking in a separate pan melt butter over medium heat. When butter is melted add garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add chicken season with salt and pepper and sauté until chicken is about half way cooked. Add flour and cook on low for 1 minute. Add cream turn to medium high and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 2-3 minutes then add cheese and stir in until smooth, 1 minute before the pasta is done scoop out 1/4 cup of the pasta water and add it to the sauce, adjust salt and add pasta after cooked and strained.

Jeezus,Alfredo is three things….Cheese,Butter and pasta water,combined together off heat,not in a pan…no chicken,no flour ,no pepper,no cream…unless you want an Olive Garden experience …🤮

@@roccoskitchen8302 I have.I used to cook that way when I didn't know what I was doing.Then I saw the light and was shown by Italian chefs how it was really done...Lived in Italy for a while and have visited numerous times,..You should try this!,...master them and you will never,ever use cream again
