im doing everything he says not to. I use garlic that's already to go out of a jar and yes I literally measured all my salts out of a little teaspoon and sprinkle it on from there lmao

Thank you, John, for another delicious looking dinner. I have a story about Alfredo's in Rome you might enjoy. My parents went to Europe in 1956 with a group. Their trip included dinner at Alfredo's in Rome. Alfredo, himself, came to their table and mixed the pasta with the sauce at the table. I'm not sure how many were in their group, but it was probably a dozen or so. After mixing the pasta, Alfredo served my mom first. She was delighted, of course, but assumed he'd just picked her at random. She later heard that Alfredo always served either the prettiest or the oldest woman at the table. My mom said she was def not the oldest (she was 37).

My grandmother was Calabrian, my grandfather was Tuscan. He died long before I was born so I never had any Tuscan influence in my life Hence I don’t have any experience with northern Italian cooking This seems to be a much better way of making Fettuccini Alfredo than any other recipes I’ve made. I could almost smell and taste it as you were making it. This video is being saved so I can give it a “twirl! (Not sorry for the pun). 😊. Thank you, Preppy John! This version of Alfredo is probably a core memory for my kids. I couldn’t cook to save my life when I was younger & this was simple enough for even me. 😂 Served with microwaved steamed broccoli (usually frozen).
