Another good review, a nice bag of goodies ! Elastic a great idea on the head torch, I carry two black diamond head lights and with two straps a lot of space is taken. Looking forward to some of your camping videos. Thanks

Hi Rob, a great look at this aspect of camping equipment. Love the Nitecore powerbanks so I think I will purchase. Thank you ATB Tom

I like and hate my NU25. The headlamp isn't the brightest on the market. The nominal 360 lumen is only available at turbo mode for short time, the high mode is only 190 lumen at 5 hours and the mid is 38 lumen at 8 hours. If i want to hike at night for whatever reason i have two options... to see something for 5 hours or "not" to see for 8 hours :) BUT..... you forgot to mention that the NU25 has only 610 mAh battery. This is exactly the advantage over other headlamps and that is the point for which i chose over anything else. If you want save some base weight or/and you have smaller powerbank, than this headlamp is the way to go. In my opinion in all other cases there are better solutions than the Nitecore NU25.

Haha yeah it was a quick look not a full review. For such a small thing and battery it lasts quite a long time. When’s the last time you hiked at night for 8 hours? 😁😉 good thing is - you can recharge as you use it 😃 What other headlamps do you like?

@@OutdoorPrep You don't have to hike all night. Since the sun goes down very early and cold is pretty soon draining the small battery, easy to run out of juice in winter. A few days ago at 4pm we were still 22 km ahead of our destination that we were able to do in 6 hours in snowy rain and in deep muddy clay soil, and the battery was almost empty. But the 2 hours charging time and the small amount of power it needs to operate makes the lamp useful on longer hikes and that's why i like it.
