Winter Expedition on Kungsleden, Sweden
Flying the DJI Mini 2 drone through the arctic circle in freezing conditions. I was not sure if the drone would make it back. This was during my backcountry expedition through Sweden's last wilderness.
Filmed entirely on the #djimini2.

Thanks Antonio! It was an awesome experience but very tough at times. Filmed only on nice days/times so this video doesn’t tell the full story 😁
Hi Rob, Krim the savage here 😁 I guess you made it to the end 💪👏 Very beautiful footage, and the music works perfectly 👌

@@OutdoorPrep indeed I've met a lot of people 😁 It would be a pleasure to discuss about our experiences but I don't have and I don't like social networks like fb or ig 🙂
It looks fantastic, I can't wait to see the full video from the trip!

Beautiful winter landscape shots please add me
Hi Rob. Breathtaking footage. What a stunning landscape. What tent did you choose for this trip ?

Thanks Gary. Was quite pleased with the drone shots 😊 I sold my green Keron4GT and got a Keron 3GT in red 😍 It’s a great tent but I’ve underestimated the amount of work it takes to set up in deep snow (and dig in)
Looks amazing Rob. Can’t wait to see/hear all about the trip and how your gear choices faired. I Went to Norway a few weeks back just to practice Xc skiing as never done it before. I’d like to do a similar pulk pulling trip somewhere like the Hardangervidda but wasn’t confident on skis. (I’m still not) what’s your experience on skis please?

Thanks Richard. Planning on doing a few videos on gear reflections and the trip soon. This was my first time on XC ski’s as well. Got better after a few days but it’s still difficult and very much depends on conditions. Last days it was just one big block of ice and that’s quite hard. Harddangervidda has “hard” and “danger” in its name so good to research weather conditions before going 😉 One thing I was very happy about was a set of full length skins. I’d highly recommend getting those. Don’t listen to experienced XC skiers telling you otherwise. It’s not for them.

@@richardwaudby7338 it can get rough there in winter. Maybe you've seen videos of "Expedition Amundsen race" that takes place there. I'm planning a trip there this summer and recently discovered "hu.no" website. You can see all the huts and trails there. Excellent resource for planning.

How did you charge your batteries?

I didn’t. Just had the 3 and that was it for most of the trip. Kebnekeise did have power outlet - on the last days
