Thanks Tom. This was my first time filming actually, aside from a test run at home. The drone did well despite heavy winds :) Can't want to see how it does in -10

Thanks Mike. Slow and steady as they call it :) The landscape was amazing, the colours looked like they were photoshopped in real life.

Nice video. I love Sweden so much. This year we are back on a motorcycle trip in Sweden.

This video shows the beauty of the Kungsleden but it is not representative of the weather. I was there at the same time as Rob and we had full days of rain, a storm and just before we started it had snowed on the Tjakta pass...

yes, the weather has been bad on some days, and then I could not even fly the drone. Footage between 1:00 and 1:10 has very high winds and the drone had trouble flying, but you might not notice that :)

If you do Kungsleden, make sure not to just focus on the most northern part (which this video seem to illustrate). The southern and the middle parts are truly amazing and more secluded. The most northern part is often, unfortunately, often very crowded.

very beautiful. you can see the highest pass in Sweden (or just Kungsleden?) and the hut. I slept there one night because the storm had come, summer 2020.

Highest place of the trail indeed, not sure about Sweden. That hut has provided shelter to a lot of people. It's literally a life saver!

Fantastic video! Do you needed a special license in order to fly a DJI mini 2 in Sweden? Or mini drones do not need it?

Thanks Rafael. It’s EU regulations and you don’t need much for a small drone, just a registration. Check out the winter version of this video.

Amazing! Did you camp in a tent along the way, or did u sleep inside of the many huts along the trail? I'm interested because i would like to do this trail myself sometime :)

I’ve stayed in my tent most nights, did two nights in a cabin just to warm up and shower (possible in only one cabin). I’m hoping to have the full guide ready soon that will give you all the information. Subscribe if you haven’t already :)

Can know where you can find the detailed map of kungsleden. Did u refer to any of the trial books ?

There’s a trail book but if you do the northern part only it’s not really needed. I bought a map in a store. You can also find a GPX file online

@@OutdoorPrep Iam actually doing the whole trail in mid August. Will the detailed map of the hike be available at Abisko? Which trial book would you recommend?

I've used "Trekking the Kungsleden" by Mike Laing. I would not count on Abisko having the right maps, from what I've seen the were random at best. You could always contact them and ask. Map I've used can be found by searching for "9789113100852". There are maps for each section. The book contains small maps.

Do you have a list of gear you took along? (curious)
