One of the main themes we explore is how systemic inflammation can cause acne. Many people are unaware that their diet can dramatically affect their skin health. Dave and I discuss how high-oxalate foods, such as almonds, raspberries, and sweet potatoes, can contribute to inflammation and worsen acne. By reducing or eliminating these foods, you can see substantial improvements in your skin.
Dave shares his insights on optimizing mitochondrial health, which is crucial for overall well-being. Mitochondria are the powerhouses of our cells, and keeping them healthy can lead to better energy levels, improved cognitive function, and enhanced physical performance. We discuss the benefits of ozone therapy, which involves introducing ozone into the body to kill harmful bacteria and viruses, boost the immune system, and improve mitochondrial efficiency.
Another critical topic we delve into is detoxing from mold exposure. Mold can wreak havoc on your health, leading to chronic fatigue, brain fog, and skin issues. Dave outlines the importance of binding toxins using substances like activated charcoal and bentonite clay, which can help remove these harmful substances from your body.
We also discuss skincare, specifically Clear Stem, a line that combines anti-acne, anti-aging, and clean ingredients free from hormone disruptors and pore-clogging fillers. This line is perfect for those who have struggled with acne and want a solution that addresses both acne and aging concerns.
In addition to skincare, we touch on sleep technology and its impact on overall health. I introduce listeners to the Eight Sleep Pod, a revolutionary sleep technology that cools or warms each side of the bed, improving sleep quality dramatically. Good sleep is essential for hormone balance, weight loss, and overall health.
Dave also shares his experience with the Bulletproof Diet, a dietary approach that emphasizes high-quality fats, moderate protein, and low carbohydrates. This diet can help reduce inflammation, improve mental clarity, and increase energy levels.
Don't miss this comprehensive guide to wellness, biohacking, and anti-aging strategies. Tune in to learn how you can take control of your health and well-being with practical advice and insights from one of the leading experts in the field.

This guy is so true with oxalates!! I felt like I was allergic to every food. Gut issues, sibo, leaky gut and acne. Currently gone keto/85% carnivore and it's helped MASSIVELY!!! no more pain in my stomach and my skin is clearing!!!

He is absolutely spot on with the oxalate topic. Mari always talks about trying to heal her acne but then mentions she eats extremely high oxalate foods like almonds, kale, sweet potatoes and raspberries…. A direct cause of inflammation and skin issues. Please have Sally Norton on your show! she is an oxalate expert and wrote the book “toxic superfoods”. I healed my eczema and acne by going carnivore and removing high oxalate foods from my diet. Definitely worth having her on your show 🫶🏽✨

Thanks to Sally Norton I now understand when my body is detoxing oxalates. Also now I can manage how much my body is detoxing by regulating the intake (to reduce detoxing ‘pain’) or help it with hydration!, sauna, calcium and citrates. Next Stop: de-oxalate Yourself 😅

It's always a pleasure to listen to Dave who has a great sense of humour. What is the exact ozone machine that can be used at home? Do you have a link, can you please share? Thanks.
