BEST day trip from LJUBLJANA! Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle!
We visited the unbelievable Postojna Cave and Predjama Castle from Ljubljana and they did NOT disappoint! What an incredible adventure riding a train through a 3 million year old cave and learning about the legend of the Slovenian Robin Hood!

Wonderful to see both the cave & the castle after so many years. I last visited them in Oct 2007

Never been there and sure I never will have a reason to go there but watching from a cave-like apartment in USA. :D
I've been many times in Postojnska jama. It is a very cool place, especially if you go with the kids.

Oh, well done! What an interesting place! I am now regretting booking *ONLY* three weeks in Croatia and Montenegro in September. Maybe I will need to make a second trip to include Slovenia?

Can you tell me about how long it took for the full tour?
We plan to go in October driving from Pula. About how much time do you think we need for the cave tour and castle?
@RoyalCroatianTours

The cave tour lasts about an 1.5hr if I remember correctly, then I'd recommend spending about an hour at the castle after!

You'll probably also need a half of hour to get from the cave to the castle. ;)
Nice, but just wonder if you have any croatian or slavic roots yourself? just heard there are tons of Ukrainians in Canada😄

According to legend, Erazem died in this toilet, due to a cannon ball. Fortunately, toilets are safer these days.

@@bandrej There is a high probability that the legend is made up. The victors wanted to humiliate him. But it's a funny story for us.
Do you really recommend the cave visit?? It seems a little bit boring since you stay for a lot of Kms on that little train

I disagree, I've watched most of these vids, the quality is great, the filming is natural and real, the beauty of the landscapes and the joy it brings comes through each vid.

If you’re trying to tell me that this looks good on TV then one of us needs glasses :) And I’m not talking about filming or landscapes, I’m talking about quality of video from technical point of view. There’s a big difference.
