BLED - A picturesque LAKE, a tiny ISLAND, a CASTLE, and a secret GORGE!
Today we visited the quaint town of Bled, a little jewel in Slovenia, where we hopped on a traditional boat to take us to the island in the middle of the lake. We also visited Bled Castle, and then got a lovely souvenir - watch to find out what it was!
We really enjoyed this little day trip from Ljubljana, and we hope you like the video!

@@povijestpovijest9569 The parking ticket is just small drop in the sea of the repressive measures they do to Slovenian people
My grandfather was a slasticar/ Zuckerbäcker/ confectioner and learned the trade in Vienna, but he also worked for many years in several hotels on the Adriatic. He had in the later days of his life a shop in Djakovo until he passed away. My mother learned how to make kremsnite from him when she was a teenager, and I still love them. Unfortunately, you will find them in Germany. So now and them I make them myself ….😋😋😋😋
Catholic Slovenia and Croatia! Nice... I wish to visit these wonderful places one day, must be home away from home. PS. always thrilled to see your videos!

Hey ... every summer I get a parking ticket in Croatia. I'm told you can do it on your phone, but it's on your phone bill? Is there a parking simple app we Americans can use when we're in Croatia ?

I just googled Vintgar Gorge, and it's supposed to be "temporarily closed." Expected opening date is April 7th.
Looks beautiful, a little nervous at Vintgar Gorge, the children could fall off the edge

Great video! I don't think you ever said though if Bled or Samobor cream cake is better? And did you get served by the kitty robot? It looks so cute. Why was the gorge closed? I'll go to Bled in October. Do you think it will still be closed?
